[jwplayer config="Small" mediaid="39503"] Hi there! My name is Gina Cabrera and I live in perpetually sunny Arizona with my husband and one of my two boys. My eldest is in the Air Force and is stationed in Alaska. I love watching any type of competition reality shows and also love camping and fishing with my family.
This is a very old layout but has to be one of my all-time favorites. I was using a telephoto lens at the time so my son didn't realize I was snapping shots of him in the pool. I truly love that I was able to capture his joy and wanted to make the photo center stage. In late 2002 I got my first digital camera and wanted to create my own photo Christmas cards. I was searching the internet for decorative fonts and came across the Two Peas In Bucket site. I of course found tons of fonts and I also found a gallery with a handful of digital scrapbookers -something I had never heard of or seen before. I was hooked. I gave away all of Creative Memories supplies and started scrapbooking digitally. There were no digi stores at the time so we all had to create our own papers and elements. After digi scrapping/designing for a couple of years I opened my little shop in May of 2004 and have been designing ever since.
Right now, my inspiration is wanting to telling a story in a digital kit format. Does that make any sense? *lol* I am currently loving organic textures, textiles and bright colors.
Computer: I am using Windows 7, AMD Phenom II X4 965 Processor, 3.40 GHz, 16.0 GB RAM, HP 25" LED Monitor Program: Photoshop CS5 Illustrator CS2 Camera: Nikon D70 with a kit lens, 50mm and 70-300mm. Anything Else: 6X11 Wacom Intuos 3 Automate. Create actions for your most performed tasks and also create your own keyboard shortcuts in Photoshop. It will save you lots of time.
I love this kit because it reminds me of my high school years. It was inspired by the old desks, manual pencil sharpeners, sharpies, lockers and the loud class bell. It's special to me because it takes me back to my school days.I believe this kit is popular because everyone at some time has taken funny photo booth photos and want to scrap them. This collection was inspired by the old fashioned photo booths of the 1950's. I wanted the colors to be bright and fun yet vintagy. The special appeal may be the quirky photo props that can be added to any photo.
