My name is Janet Phillips and I'm the very blessed mama to six kids (ages 1-11) and wife to an amazing man, Jason. We've spent ten of the last 14 years living in Asia and although we are headed back to the States for a while, we look forward to returning "home" to Asia someday.
I started digital scrapbooking in May 2005 and I haven't slowed down a bit! I have completed more than 2000 pages and I still love it as much now as I did the day I completed my first layout. Even though I have been designing since 2006, my love for scrapping always comes first.
In September 2006 I began creating digital scrapbooking templates. Since the end of 2009, I have been selling at Sweet Shoppe Designs.
In the past when I had fewer children and more time, I was published in numerous scrapbooking magazines. I was also awarded Best of Show in the Photoshop Elements Magazine scrapping contest and was a top-10 finalist for Creating Keepsakes Scrapbooker of the Year contest.
Currently my time is pulled in many directions as I homeschool my crew, live overseas, design for Sweet Shoppe Designs, write and create classes for The Daily Digi, and blog at Preparing the Soil. Phew...I'm tired now.
I create on an iMac, edit photos in Lightroom, scrap in Photoshop Elements, shoot with a Canon 7D, and would rather not try to live without my computer, camera, Kindle, or kids.
