It’s hard to believe that time of the year is on the horizon. I know there is a wide variety of start dates depending on where you live. Some schools start back the third week of July (ack!) and others don’t start back until Labor Day (I’m looking at you, Michigan!)
For our family, our older two kids start back at their homeschool co-op next week while the other kids don’t start back until the end of August. All I know is that they have been asking to go back since the middle of June! They are EXCITED! Not so much for the math and reading, I’m afraid, but for their friends and fun co-op.
I may not be excited for the crazy busy of the school year, but I am excited to get my craft on!
This time of year, with all the back to school products and organization that has to happen, brings out all the crafty in me. I can’t help it. If they have to have a notebook, it might as well be cute! I have been using my stash for school stuff since my kids started!
Over the years, I have made a variety of back to school stuff with my digi stash.
These are binder covers I made a few years ago
These are the binder covers I made last year
I’ve made passports for the kids to travel the world through geography
I’ve made checklists for little girls who would rather play with her baby dolls than do their school…
And I have made lots and lots of preschool pages (I often laminate them so they can be used over and over)
So, now that day one is approaching, I’ve got lots of crafty ideas stirring around my head that I can’t wait to get started on! Having my huge stash of digi supplies makes it so fun and so easy!
