Supplies: My Life of Daring, a TDD member exclusive kit
I have been on The Daily Digi team for a long time now and I still get excited when I unzip the Digi Files each month. I loved this kit in the December 2014 files, but I didn’t get a chance to work with it until just this past week. I decided to do a page about my day at 6:00 am and 6:00 pm., just for fun:
Supplies: Cozy Up by Snips and Snails, Layer Block 1 by Little Moments Designs (retired)
It’s just one of those little pages that I like to include as a bit of random family trivia in my albums.
I’m glad I made it though because I noticed that I often do pages with the “double mat” in the background when I want a simple page design or to work with a bolder pattern.
I used to do a lot of double-matting when I was a paper scrapbooker almost 15 years ago. It’s funny to me to see that I’m still doing it today! I guess no matter how many new tricks we learn, some things are just in our comfort zone for a reason. And there’s nothing wrong with that!
Do you have a go-to style or technique that has stood the test of time?
