I know, I know. You are probably sick of reading about our road trip. I apologize. It’s just one of those once-in-a-lifetime experiences with our little kids and I want to suck every ounce of memory out of this trip. I’ve shared a lot already, including Why We’re Roadtripping. If you want to see more photos, you can always check out my personal blog.
Now that I have made major progress in choosing the photos I want to keep, I need to start getting inspired to scrap them. I will make one big album with mostly photos, but I know that there are a lot of things we have done that I want to make layouts of. To get inspired, I had to look no further than Pinterest. Just searching for “road trip layouts” brought up an amazing array of inspirational layouts. Here are just a few I loved (all images are linked to their source).
I love the title work with the map cut outs. So cool!
The black and white photos in this pocket scrapping spread are so beautiful. I don’t think of B&W for road trips, but now I really want to try it!
I think the keys are such a perfect touch to this layout!
The white half map with the colorful patterned paper states makes this layout so fun and intriguing. It totally draws the viewer in!
I think this layout is so fun. The map background, the tiny taped photos, the push pins..it’s all so fun!
Nettio’s infamous layout and the free template she made would be so perfect for a road trip layout!
This is probably my favorite of the bunch! I love the hexagon photos, the bright colors, the state signs…everything. I can’t wait to scraplift it!
What about you? Have you scrapped any roadtrip layouts you want to show me? I’ll take all the inspiration I can get!
