I’m thrilled to be welcoming back Erin Kay to The Digi Files this month! I love the vintage, retro, whimsical vibe of her kits with the minimal style patterned papers. They really are classic collections that can withstand the test of time! Erin’s beautiful word art will quickly inspire a theme for a layout if you are stumped. Her contribution this month is overflowing and I love the lace and GLITTER! Let’s take a closer look at “Today Tomorrow Always and Love Notes (Actions)” that is included in The Digi Files this month:

I am a small town girl. I enjoy photography and books, and lots of time outside. I’m a proud mom to my son and daughter and they’re pretty much what make my world go round!
This is one of my favorites because of the photo. I was pretty smitten with myself that I was able to capture that! I also love all the Sahlin Studio goodies; she’s one of my fav designers.
I have tried to paper scrap in the past, but glue and scissors is so tedious! I learned about digital scrapbooking right before I had my son 6 years ago and have loved it ever since!
Everything. Really. I see something in just about everything. Sometimes I don’t know what to do with all my ideas because I love it all. Scrapping, crafting, photography, and sewing too! As far as scrapping goes though, I find I am inspired by paper products and layouts a lot. I love a digital page that looks like you could reach out and touch it.
Computer: I have a desktop and a laptop. I’m afraid my desktop is getting a little old, but it I have a nice big calibrated screen to help me see what I’m doing. I got the laptop just for the occasion in which my desktop decides to die once and for all. The laptop sports a hefty 8GB of RAM, 1 TB HD and a core i7 processor. It’s pretty awesome for my gaming addictions too!
Program: Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop CS5
Camera: Nikon D300
Anything Else: I have a small Bamboo tablet that I got a few years ago.
A real timesaver in photoshop for me is hitting the ctrl key while clicking on a specific item on my page. It instantly selects that item in the layers panel!
I love the colors and the overall theme. I think it’s really fun and could have a lot of uses. It’s also lending itself to that more “paper-scrapped” look that I love.
Funnily enough, my favorite product is also a favorite of my customers! I think the overall theme makes it special. Who doesn’t have someone who they could list all the things they love about?
