I’ve been watching Che Yang since she opened up her store at Mscraps when I fell in love with her designs. I love her light, modern, slightly shabby style! I think my favorite things in Che’s kits though are her doodled word arts. I love the beautiful sayings that she illustrates equally as well! Let’s take a closer look at “September Blooms” that is included in The Digi Files this month:
Here are some layouts created using Che Yang Designs’ contribution:

Hello! My name is Che and I live in Minnesota with my family. I have been married for 5 years to my husband Lue and we have a 3 year old daughter and a baby boy on the way.
I had my daughter in the spring of 2008 and like most new moms I took hundreds and hundreds of photos of her and was looking for a way to display them so that I can share them with family members. In the fall of that same year my search led me to a very popular website where I discovered digital scrapbooking and like most of you I was instantly hooked.
A year later I was invited by a designer to be on her creative team so I decided to create a blog to promote her beautiful designs. At that same time, I started to create pattern papers and offer them as freebies to increase traffic to my blog. It was so much fun creating papers and I was quite blown away by the responses that I received from the people who downloaded my papers. I knew then that I wanted to be a designer.
In March of 2010 I started selling my designs with a friend in her personal shop. A month later MScraps had a designer call so I decided to give it a shot and got accepted. I have been with MScraps ever since.
I get most of my inspiration from my daughter and the internet.
I have a laptop, Intel Core i5. I actually have to look up on the internet to see how much RAM I have. Lol. This is what it says 4GB DDR3 1066MHz RAM. Lol.
Program: I use Photoshop CS5 to create all my layouts and Photoshop CS5 and Illustrator CS5 to create all my designs.
Camera: I actually don’t have one at the moment. I was using a point and shoot camera but it broke on me recently. I guess it really is time to get a new one. Lol.
Everything Else: I have a Wacom Tablet and the Epson Perfection V600 Photo scanner.
I don’t spend a lot of time treating my photos unless I know that I will print them out, but there is one thing that I almost always do before scrapping a photo even if I ended up turning it to black and white…and that is simply duplicating my photo then change the blending mode to soft light. Try it! This will greatly improve your photos.
My most current kit is always my favorite and in this case it’s my “Beautiful You Collection”.
I think one of my best selling products is my “Wildflowers” kit.
