Omg! I finally got it! After trying and trying and trying! I finally did it! What finally worked was when I deleted the folders I had created to hold the actions. lol I'm not sure I could easily do it again--I'm not sure which folder to drag to my dock. But anyway, after dozens of tries getting the actions loaded and a few more dozen tries getting the first LO completed here are the results:

Thanks for your help, Wendy!

Sharon, With Mac, you don't have to show hidden files. You can see the folders by going directly to them. So, if you found the folders and copied the items in, you have two more steps. Quit PSE. Then, go to your MACINTOSH HD>Library>Application Support>Adobe>Photoshop Elements>6.0 folder. In there is a file called ThumbDatabase.db3. Delete this file. PSE will recreate it when you restart. Then, go to MACINTOSH HD>Library>Application Support>Adobe>Photoshop Elements>6.0>Locale>en_US folder and delete the MediaDatabase.db3. Restart PSE. A tip for Mac Users... Drag these folders onto your dock so you can access them quickly to install your actions. Make sure you've installed the XML file too. Then, when you restart Elements, you'll be able to click on the Photo Effects button (the third icon in on the Effects Palette) and select WZ_ScrapIt from the Drop Down Menu to see just the actions in this collection.

Hi Wendy and Steph, I am having difficulty getting the actions installed. I'm working from a Mac 10.4.11 and have PSE6. To start with, I can't find *anywhere* to "SHOW HIDDEN FILES AND FOLDERS. Actions should be installed using the Admin Account". I *think* I may have the files installed in the correct folders, but they're not showing up in PSE. Yikes! I'd sure love to try this! Thanks for any help you can provide.
Here's my LO:
http://www.digishoptalk.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=945075&title=spring&cat=500
I've used photo actions before, but never one that scrapped for me! This made it so easy, although it took me a while to get used to having everything picked out before I started the LO. Thanks for this tutorial, I was confused by the contract selection part. Thanks so much!

I purchased my first digi-file because I saw that Wendy had a contribution in there. I've been wanting to try her actions, and I thought this would be an awesome opportunity to get them and some other great goodies as well. I use PSE8. I am surly NOT disappointed!
Here is a layout I did with scrapit10 http://www.scrapbookgraphics.com/photopost/studio-wendyzine/p82244-a-new-understanding.html
I had to go and get the collection 2 also!
Fun stuff! I am hooked!
I do have a question though. What am I doing wrong? What does it mean when I run the action and it causes the program to crash? My computer is brand new so it shouldn't be a memory problem right?
Thanks again to Wendy! I am very pleased with the products!
