Thank you for saying this. Hoarding is hard for me not to do because I never know when Ill have the chance to get it again…but its totally not worth the clutter it brings to my house!

I definitely can relate to your experience of mindfully scaling back on purchases and possessions. Eight years ago, my husband and I moved from a 3,000 sq. ft home on a golf course to a 1,200 sq. ft. loft in downtown. It was the most freeing and mind-cleansing experience. I still suffer from the “gotta-have-it-because-it’s-cool syndrome but am working on it. Thanks for sharing the Unclutter site and blog. The onion goggles are too much!
