Totally second everything you've said! My current grocery budget is $60 a week for my family (2 adults/1 4yr old). Coupons have been a life saver, as have bloggers. Just wanted to let everyone know about a great place to go and find a local blogger. It's called the frugal map: http://thefrugalmap.bargainbriana.com/the-frugal-map/ It's relatively new, and I've found a couple more bloggers who shop the same stores I do to visit! :D

I recently learned about this phenomenon. Thanks for the introduction to it - it is one of the better ones I have seen. Have you seen the WSJ article recommending stock piling flour as the best return on your money at the moment?

I'm very quickly becoming one of those addicted coupons moms! Started couponing in January after buying "The Coupon Mom's Guide to Cutting Your Grocery Bills in Half" book. Stephanie Nelson explains everything from navigating the grocery stores to the drug stores.

For those that are still skeptical, please go through the KCL tutorials. Try it for a month and, I promise, you will wonder did you wait so long to start couponing!! :D

Great post. It seems like since we've had children our lives are more hectic and grocery shopping has become less organized and our grocery bill has skyrocketed. I can't wait to check out the sites. Thanks!

Love this! I saved over 70% off my Grocery Bill last week using coupons. I use a site called thegrocerygame.com. It does all the work for me so I don't have to figure it out. I just login and print out a customized list. It tells me what coupons to cut out and even what percentage I'll be paying on each item. I pay 1.25 a week for my List to my grocery store but the convenience and savings is amazing! She has videos on the site to get you started. There are Lists available all over the US. My friends use it in MI and I'm in AZ. Anything to give me more time to scrap!!

Thanks, Kelleigh!
I'm going to give this a try this week. With DH's food allergies, we're very limited in the grocery department, so it's going to be a bit more difficult, but I want to see if it can work for us. At least then I'll know if my excuses are legit or just an excuse for laziness :)
(I haven't really given this a try up to now because when we were GIVEN the coupons from the Sunday paper, we could only use one, maybe two coupons a week. Certainly not worth the $2.25 for a Sunday paper!!)
