I am so excited to have Connie here with us this month in THE DIGI FILES! I knew of Connie before she sent me an email about being in the files, but was really blown away by the quality of her designs! I also really love how cute her themed kits are! Here is a closer look at her contribution to THE DIGI FILES this month:

Georgia has been my home for my entire life, I currently live about 25 miles west of Atlanta in a small town. I’ve been married to my husband for 13 years and we have one son who is 12. At the moment I work full-time from home and I homeschool my son! There is never a dull day in our house, we all love to be silly and play together. When I’m not being a mom, wife, teacher, or designer I love to read, craft, and watch movies!

The best scrapbooking trick which I started doing many years ago is to write down the details of the “moment” as soon after it happens as possible. I typically jot down the important details, emotions, who is in the picture, etc as soon as possible so that I will not forget.
I keep these in chronological order in a notebook along with the file names of the photos to refer back to. I file all of my photos by year and by month so it’s easy to flip through the files on my computer and then find the matching journal information.

I was a paper scrapper in the beginning, I worked as a consultant for Creative Memories for a number of years. Then, I found digital scrapbooking in 06 and was hooked immediately. Designing seemed like so much fun to me that it didn’t take long for me to give it a go too!

I almost always start with colors & the ideas flow from there!

I am a PC girl, I can’t give up my desk and workspace even if a laptop definitely makes more sense space wise lol! I have a lot of ram, but we’ve added the maximum amount and I still want more!
I use Photoshop & Illustrator almost exclusively in my design work.
I have a Canon Rebel as well as a Canon Power Shot for on the go.
I love my CanoScan scanner and my Epson wide format printer, those are my other favorite toys!

“We’ve Got Game” is my favorite, it represents something that my family loves to do so well!
