I’m super excited to welcome back Connie Prince to The Digi Files! Connie is a very talented designer and it has been fun for me to work with her over the past few years. I love Connie’s ability to theme a kit and tie everything together through colors, patterns, and elements. I can’t wait to do a little shopping with the coupon below! Let’s take a closer look at “Our Love” that is included in The Digi Files this month:

Hi everyone, I’m Connie Prince and I live in Georgia with my sweet family. William is my husband of almost 16 years and we have one son, Hayden. We also have two dogs (Widget and Mokka) and one cat (Pringles) who are all a very important part of our little family!
We were so excited to have snow on Christmas Day 2010! No one in my family had ever experienced a White Christmas, so it was truly a memorable day. I really loved the photos that we captured and how happy we all felt in that moment!

I have been designing and growing my scrapbooking business for a number of years. For years, I was a website graphic designer and also an avid paper scrapper. So, when I found the digital world of scrapbooking, it just seemed natural to combine the two interests!
Inspiration, I believe, for most designers comes from personal experience and exposure. I absorb my inspiration from nature, my son & his pals, color, texture, you name it and I’ve probably used it as a source of creativity!
Computer: I have an Alienware computer, which is really cool because it’s for gamers and has lots of graphic capability. Dual monitors are a must have!
Program: Photoshop is my design program of choice!
Camera: I have a Canon PowerShot, which is always in my bag for quick shots. I also have a Canon Rebel!
Anything Else: I use an Adesso (11″) tablet for doodling in Illustrator.
I think my biggest tip is to create what you enjoy! The entire process of creating is a lot more enjoyable if I create what makes me happy and not by trying to conform into trends that are just not my style!
My mother passed away in July 2010 and it was created to honor her sweet memory. The creative process was very healing to me and stands as a reminder of how she lived her life by the scriptures that she loved so much.
Main Street Magic is inspired by the magical place that so many of us love dearly! The colors are bright and bold, perfect for the fun memories that they help to record.

Georgia has been my home for my entire life, I currently live about 25 miles west of Atlanta in a small town. I’ve been married to my husband for 13 years and we have one son who is 12. At the moment I work full-time from home and I homeschool my son! There is never a dull day in our house, we all love to be silly and play together. When I’m not being a mom, wife, teacher, or designer I love to read, craft, and watch movies!

The best scrapbooking trick which I started doing many years ago is to write down the details of the “moment” as soon after it happens as possible. I typically jot down the important details, emotions, who is in the picture, etc as soon as possible so that I will not forget.
I keep these in chronological order in a notebook along with the file names of the photos to refer back to. I file all of my photos by year and by month so it’s easy to flip through the files on my computer and then find the matching journal information.
I was a paper scrapper in the beginning, I worked as a consultant for Creative Memories for a number of years. Then, I found digital scrapbooking in 06 and was hooked immediately. Designing seemed like so much fun to me that it didn’t take long for me to give it a go too!
I almost always start with colors & the ideas flow from there!
I am a PC girl, I can’t give up my desk and workspace even if a laptop definitely makes more sense space wise lol! I have a lot of ram, but we’ve added the maximum amount and I still want more!
I use Photoshop & Illustrator almost exclusively in my design work.
I have a Canon Rebel as well as a Canon Power Shot for on the go.
I love my CanoScan scanner and my Epson wide format printer, those are my other favorite toys!
“We’ve Got Game” is my favorite, it represents something that my family loves to do so well!
