This is Steph, taking over the Sponsor Spotlight today.  When Janet told me that Zoe Pearn was a sponsor this month, I was beyond excited (a.k.a. butterflies in the tummy and heart palpitations) but tried to play  calm and casual as I told her (Janet) that I would LOVE to do the Sponsor Spotlight on Zoe!!  I am a true fanatic!!  There are several designers that I constantly stalk and buy almost everything they put out and Zoe would be one of them! :) (I actually have a cart full of Zoe’s stuff over at Sweet Shoppe and will put the coupon below to good use later today!). :) I love Zoe’s unique patterned papers especially the florals and paisleys (I am a paisley addict and can depend on Zoe to always do them well)!  Her color schemes are simply delightful and bring an instant smile to my face!  We are thrilled that Zoe is part of The Digi Files this month!!  Here is a look at her contribution to The Digi Files 6:

I just love the colors and the scalloped frame clusters in this kit!!  Not to mention the signature Zoe glitter splats and all of the fun trims too.  I can see so many uses for this kit!  Here are a few layouts from our team using this kit:

I have always had a love of pretty stationery, fabrics and doing various paper crafts so when I stumbled across digital scrapping it was a perfect match for me!  They say you should pay attention to what you are drawn to throughout your life as that is what you are meant to do, and that is so true for me!  In the beginning, I really had no idea where to start – all I knew was that I wanted to do it!  When I saw that Shabby Princess was self-taught, I decided to give it a go…  At first it was just a hobby for me, and I was happy to make enough money to cover my internet connection – LOL!  But then push came to shove when my son was born as I had lost my job on my last day before maternity leave, and then my husband lost his job the week after. We were in dire straits and that was when I decided to make it my full time career, and I’m so glad I took the plunge!

It’s coming up to four years since I first started designing… whoa!  It has gone so fast!  I’ve been doing it as my “job” full time for two years now, and have lots of different projects on the go to keep me busy!  As well as being a digital designer, I also design for the paper company, My Mind’s Eye, and have just started branching out into fabric design which is very exciting!

Unfortunately these days I don’t get a lot of time to scrap, although I wish I did!  So, I guess you could say I’m more of a designer than a scrapper… I find designing easier than scrapping because I am so out of practice – LOL!  When I do have time, I love to scrap both traditionally and digitally.

Too many – LOL!  No, it really depends on how many different projects I’ve got on the go at any one time!  Usually it is anywhere from 40-50 hours a week, when I’m busy it can be 70!

That would be a toss up between “Some Like It Hot” and “C’est La Vie”, although every new kit becomes my new favourite – LOL!

It would probably be a very close call between “Bloom & Grow” and “Little Joys”.

1. My family, especially the rare cuddles and smooches I get from my little guy!
2. Getting together with my wonderful friends.  We don’t get to see a lot of each other these days, but when we do it’s just awesome!
3. Watermelon… I definitely could not live without it!
4. Reading… I am such a book worm, and if I had time I would read all day, every day.
5. Rainy mornings when you can snuggle under the doona.
6. Shopping!  I am an absolute shopaholic, and I’m sure I have more shoes than Ivana Trump – LOL!
7. My job… I am really so lucky that I get to do what I love for a living.  I have to pinch myself sometimes.
8. The smell of fresh laundry.  Love it!
9. Buttons, ribbons, alphabet stickers, and paper flowers… I collect these things for some reason!
10. Photos… I have always been the family photographer!

1. Telemarketers who ring just as I have gotten Josh off to sleep!
2. Slow drivers… They always seem to pick me to get in front of!
3. Having to catch a car ferry every time I want to leave my suburb.  It’s cool to live in a semi-rural area, but sometimes I miss the convenience of the city!
4. Cotton wool balls.  Strange, I know, but I have a phobia of touching dry cotton wool – LOL!  I literally break into a sweat when I think of it!
5. Spiders.  I am seriously arachnophobic… I have even jumped out of a moving car to escape a Huntsman! Yuk!!!
6. When my mojo disappears from me for weeks at a time, usually when I have a deadline to meet.
7. Being an insomniac, and not being able to switch off.  My mind is always going, going, going!
8. The Wiggles.  My son is obsessed with them at the moment, and they drive me nuts!
9. My slow internet connection… enough said!
10.  Checkout chicks and guys who don’t say hello.  One of my absolute pet hates – LOL!

Let’s check out some of Zoe’s products, besides her gorgeous kits, she is famous for her “blog in a box” collections and they have some of the best direction for installation on a blogger blog that I have seen!
