Wow! This is just what I needed! I am planning to start teaching this summer! The advice is SO appreciated! Thank you so much for doing this article. Wow. I would love to get in touch with Andrea and ask a few more questions, if there is any way you could pass my email address along to her I would really appreciate that. I have high hopes of finding the same passion when I begin teaching and I am so excited about it!

Interesting subject. I've taught paper scrapbooking for about 9 years now in classes as big as 35 but a normal class size for me is 20-24 people. I've taught at several different stores and locations. My biggest problem? When you say "digital" scrapbooking, they all think you are the anti-christ or something and they don't even want to consider it. It's even the same way on some internet sites as well. I really think that within the next few years, paper scrapping will be a thing of the past and us digital scrappers, that are taking the time now to learn, will be the future leaders of the that generation of scrappers. I intend to be there. I'm wondering if you've experienced that as well? The total backturning when you mention digital scrapping and then how do you get people intersted enough to drop their paper and scissors for a few minutes to learn?

Great article. You guys rock my world every morning!

Thanks for the informative post. I was taught by my sister and have since taught a couple of others, but always have people saying they are interested. I will definitely have to look into this more, because I love to have people see it and understand my passion/obsession for digiscrapping!

Thank you very much, this was really interesting! I taught two of my friends, that was quite fun, and am now trying to help my husband´s aunt, who is olde and not used to working with a computer at all - that´s hard, but still nice.
Some day I´d really love to do this proffesional, but scrapping, even traditional, is still very little known here in Gemany. But you filled my mind with ideas :-)

Great post! I've done around ten "presentations" on digi at various church and community groups, but I never have the heart to charge people. Maybe it's a way to pay it forward, or maybe it's that these people are so interested in preserving their family history that I feel guilty by putting a price on that. Either way, lots of people have converted to digi as a result of these workshops that I've given. I *LOVE* helping them "see the light". :)

Thank you for this post! I have 10 years experience in training computer software programs at a fortune 100 company and now that I'm a SAHM, I want to be able to bridge my corporate learnings with my passion!!
