I have always enjoyed working with the designers from SO, shopping in the store, and scrapping with their products! STORE
Scrap Orchard was founded by two sisters, Kami and Mel, who wanted to create a digital scrapbook community that reflects their fun-loving, goofy personalities. We opened for business on April 1, 2008. (Did we mention we like to joke around? *groan*) And ever since, we have focused on providing a positive, friendly, fun environment with a wide range of high quality, original and unique products.
How many designers do you have now?
We currently have 18 fabulously talented Orchard Girls, who amaze us each and every week with their gorgeous Fresh Fruit (new product) releases: AnnaBV Designs, Captivated Visions, Chelle’s Creations, Designs by Julie Bullock, Designs by Kat, EarthArt International, Faith True Originals, Fiddle-Dee-Dee Designs, Irene Alexeeva, Laura Banasiak, Lyndsay Riches, mle Card, Nanie’s Designs, PixelGeek Designs, Scrapping with Liz, SuzyQ Scraps, Tracie Stroud, Ziggle Designs by Kami.
What is the site philosophy?
Our philosophy guides our business. We put a strong emphasis on customer service and satisfaction. We are constantly striving to make our site user-friendly, ensure we always have something fun and exciting happenings (we love promotions and contests) and to provide top-notch, original, unique digital scrapbook products. We recently rolled out Plum Perks, a customer rewards program, where customers can earn store credit for every dollar spent in The Market and every daily challenge completed in The Forum.
We are all about the fun. Throughout the year we run incredible promotions and give away fabulous prizes! We just recently finished our second Iron Scrapper contest where we gave away over $1000 in prizes- including an iPad2 and iPod Touch. We love being able to provide an environment which helps to inspire our members and rewards them for being an active part of our community.
In September, Scrap Orchard will be attending the Original Scrapbook Expo in Salt Lake City and, true to Scrap Orchard form, we have some really awesome events planned for our booth.
We had such an overwhelming response from those who attended our first Digiscrapapalooza retreat last April that we are doing it again next March. Digiscrapapalooza 2012 presented by Scrap Orchard, will be held in Las Vegas at the gorgeous Rio. All we can say is the word “fun” does not even begin to describe what we have in store for the attendees!
There is always something fresh and exciting happening at Scrap Orchard and that is what we love most about our site.
Our favorite store collaboration was Viva Las Vegas. We released this kit last spring to commemorate our 3rd birthday and our 1st Digiscrapapalooza Retreat. We love the fun colors and the inspiration for the kit (Hello?! Vegas!) and think it turned out incredible!
Our best selling collaboration was Picture Perfect. We released this kit as our January 2011 Mega and… well- it’s just beautiful! The colors are unique (Kami loves it so much she is going to redecorate her kitchen using the swatch) and the theme is really open and can be used for most any occasion.

Scrap Orchard is where I found my love of digital scrapbooking, so they hold a very special place in my heart. I LOVE all of their designers and I was so blessed to have the opportunity to meet most of them in Vegas earlier this year. Scrap Orchard is great! I absolutely love the fun feel of the site. I can see that I could spend a lot of time at Scrap Orchard! This kit is fabulous! So many ways you could go with it.
