Thanks for the great resources, Janet!

My new bridge camera arrived last Thursday and I finally worked up the courage to take an actual photo, yesterday. YIKES! I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed by it all. There is just so much information out there that I have been at a loss for where to start. Thanks to your article I’m feeling much less overwhelmed…bite-size pieces fell much more doable.

I personally own 2 of the Scott Kelby books. He’s really good about explaining things on a “idiot” level. I love his books.

I’ve also taken an online course from Better Photo which, eh…I’m not sure if I really liked it or not but there was one on one instruction there if you needed it.

I love photography and always have and back in the old days, I had a 35mm camera and I knew exactly what apperature settings to use for the shots I wanted and I was very happy with my stuff. Then I got a digital point and shoot, and my photography and life changed. So these sources have helped tremendously.

Excellent sources listed here and some I will definitely be checking out. I know just enough to be dangerous and I’d love to learn more!
