I’m excited to welcome Oscraps to The Digi Files this month! Several of my favorite designers call the O their home. Their contribution this month includes bits from each desginer at the O. It’s a beautiful, artsy collection and our team had a lot of fun scrapping with it! Let’s take a closer look at “Firefly Nights :: Oscraps Collab” that is included in The Digi Files this month:

My name is Clara and I’m an army wife and mom to two rambunctious kids (three if you count my husband!) and also the Oscraps Cheery-O Team leader (site CT). I am proud to call Oscraps my digi-hOme. While I have only been there for 4 years the O (as we like to call it) has been open for 6 years. Vicki Stegall is the owner of this site and has created an amazing, laid back community where members can find a fantastic balance of all things scrap related and real life. We currently have over 20 talented designers in the shop that create a wide variety of products to include Traditional, Clean & Simple, Artsy, and even some Fantasy products. The site is newly upgraded and has some fun new features. We are now able to link our favorite products to Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Google+. We have an active blog with posts several times a week, highlighting kits, members, challenges and even some tips and tricks. Of course, I always love our monthly challenges. We offer 6 challenges a month that can enter you to win one of 6 designer coupons each month. Most months we also offer an opportunity to win our next months collab before it has even been released. Between these things and the regular stream of new releases our designers put out there is always something going on at Oscraps.

Oscraps started as a blog where Vicki gave away freebies. She never imagined how well loved her products would be and before long her blog morphed into the store you see now, she told me it pretty much happened over night. It wasn’t long before designers were flocking to sell their products alongside hers and now there are always at least 20 designers selling products at any given time. The store has now been open for more than 6 years. Like I mentioned above I have been an active member of Oscraps for 4 years. At the time I started participating in the forums there were several ladies that were planning a vacation together in Mexico. I was blown away that some people who met online wanted to go on vacation together and very quickly found out why. Oscraps’ laid back atmosphere and desire to provide not just a store but a community has created an amazing group of loyal, caring people who are not just scrappers but real friends. I hope to always be a part of this group.

To pick just one kit as a favorite is nearly impossible. I have several favorites. The great thing about Oscraps Collabs is they are ever evolving because our designers grow and change. But since I have to pick just one…I would have to say that our current collab, Dandelion Days, is one of my very favorite kits. We wanted a kit with clean colors and it became an amazing summer kit. A kit to remind you of all those everyday summer memories. Eating watermelon in the heat, playing in the sprinkler, drinking lemonade on the porch. I think this kit captured that beautifully.
Parisian Holiday was definitely inspired by Christmas and the holiday season but nobody wanted to go in the direction of just another traditional Christmas kit. I believe during the discussions “Please no candy canes” was a specific request. Both the designers and the Cheery-O’s agreed that glamorous was the way to go and what better way to go glam than adding Paris into the mix. This is one of our most versatile collabs we have created. When discussing a collab you come up with a theme and color scheme you think will work well but until it is all packaged and a preview is created you just don’t know what the end result will be, but this kit was definitely a masterpiece and I go back to it often.

I love OScraps, too. And this post really highlights how much time and dedication your posts about the Digi Game designers requires. I can only assume that either you are like me and sometimes tend to get lost as you scour the store for great new (or old) things or you are superhuman, which is entirely possible, and you can stay on task.

I have been a fan of Oscraps for a long time! Firefly Nights in going to perfect for some of my summer pages of my grandkids collecting fireflies.
At first glance this kit didn’t look like anything I would normally purchase. But when I started going through it I was so blown away by the color. It’s just beautiful. The papers are just great. I can’t wait to use it!
Anything by Anna, Cinzia, Biograffitti, Fei Fei, Paislee Press, Peppermint, Taylormade, and Sue Cummings are all folks that have received some of my monthly budget for digital scrapbooking supplies over the years. just wish my budget were larger.

This kit could be used for so many different kinds of pages. When I went to Oscraps to look around, I thought it would be fun to look over the Christmas kits (it is almost July after all…). I spent some time at Oscraps a while back and found them to be super friendly and helpful! I didn’t make Oscraps my home only because I was on another site CT, but it is a wonderful site with awesome products

1st I am a big fan of O scraps – thanks to Peppermint, and the digi show
2nd – I am in love with the firefly kit – it brought back a great memory of my daughter when she first caught fireflies at my mothers. She put in in a jar – named it Sally Rose Nudi, and was devistated when I had to let it go. I explained that she would live at Grandmas and we would visit every year. who would have thought she would remember that? we returned the following June and there was Sammy – outside calling for her firefly friend…
