Mouth-Watering Inspiration (and a coupon!)

Hello Faithful Daily Digi readers…it’s Janet, and I am back with my monthly dose of layout inspiration.  And at 19 weeks pregnant, do you know what inspires me??

FOOD.

(Well, except on the days that I am throwing it all up.  Hopefully those days will soon be a thing of the past.)

Really, food has been a slight obsession lately.  I have spent hours searching out new recipes, remembering long-forgotten about recipes, and dreaming of all the yummy things I could cook if only I had nothing else do in my day.  To be honest, even when I am not pregnant I love to think and talk about food, and it has definitely made its way into my scrapping and photo-taking.  Here are just a few pages I have done:

And so, since I am feeling a bit food-obsessed, I searched the gallery for food-related layouts.  And I was not disappointed!  Here are just a few of the fabulous layouts I found.

(All images are linked to original gallery postings/credits)

I love this layout about a Thanksgiving table setting.  Setting the table properly was a HUGE deal in my family growing up, and definitely one I am passing on to my kids. I love the idea of scrapping it.

Love this traditional recipe card page.  So pretty!

This is a great layout detailing the artist’s daughter love for cooking for the family.

I can definitely relate to pregnancy cravings!  This great layout records the artist’s craving for french fries during pregnancy.  Love it!

I just LOVE this layout!  The design is beyond fabulous and I totally cracked up at the subject matter…a page on how to make instant noodles! LOL!

As I was looking through galleries in search of great food pages, I stumbled upon geek_girl’s gallery.  Oh my!  It is FILLED with yummy recipe layouts!  I don’t know if she is putting together a book for herself or for someone else but I just know my mouth is watering!  Here are just a FEW of her fabulous layouts.

Aren’t all these layouts great?  Aren’t you inspired?  I know I am.  I can’t wait to work more on my own recipe book that I started and never finished.

And just to encourage you to scrap your food layouts, for today and tomorrow only, you can grab this recipe template set of mine for 50% off.  Just use coupon code

I love, love, love your templates. I’ve got this one in my stash, but haven’t gotten to it yet. I can’t wait to put it to good use & get some of our recipes documented & into one place.

Thank you Janet for the discount and inspiration. I’ve had those templates wishlisted for a while and wanted to make my own cookbook since we are a family of picky eaters (and allergies). It would be nice to just be able to pull out a book and be able to make something from it versus browse recipe upon recipe that I’ll never make looking for the one! Now to get started!

Thanks so much for the template Janet. I am a hopeless cook, but would love to make a few tongue in cheek pages (I actually set fire to the microwave once!).

Bought your template. Love your style and designs. Thank you so much. I wouldn’t call myself a “foodie” but lately have been taking more food pictures. At first my family teased me but now those are some of the first pictures that get comments!
