BIO: BIO: I am a stay-at-home Mama to our 2 boys – aged 2 and 2 months. I am married to a man I adore and helps me grow as a person daily. As is common to most scrappers, my family is the number one subject for my pages. I am currently having just a BIT more difficulty finding the time to scrap like I want to but I love it with a passion and it is one of my releases from the daily craziness of being a Mama. Besides scrapping and other crafty ventures (quilting, baking, sewing), I love the outdoors and spend much of my time hiking, biking, running, and playing! We live in the mountains in Wyoming and I am spoiled by the beauty here! I started digiscrapping in 2009 and tapped into an awesome way to blend my creativity with my desire to preserve memories. I am known in the “digiworld” as “mrsmayer”.
5 PRODUCTS I CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT:
1. Templates! I use them on almost all of my layouts. Love the ones by Simply Tiffany and a new favorite, Little Green Frog.
2. Alphas (really love those by CD Muckosky)
3. Handwriting Fonts (am loving Heather Hess right now)
4. Brushes – I am not picky on these!
5. Full and complete kits (since I am totally a kit scrapper!) My favorite right now? Summer Camp by Sahlin Studio and Kate Hadfield.
MY STYLE: …is always changing. I love white space, but more recently have been working to incorporate clusters in my layouts. I like to experiment and just do what feels “right” at that moment. However, all my layouts include heart-felt journaling which I consider one of my strong points.
MY SCRAPPING IDOL(S): Ali Edwards, Cathy Zielske, and CD Muckosky
WHY I AM EXCITED TO BE ON THE TEAM: Honestly, I am humbled to be a part of this team and this site and that is reason enough to be VERY excited! I have turned to The Daily Digi for years now for inspiration and tips and it is always the number one site I recommend to new scrappers. I believe in what it stands for and I love the fact that I get to play with a whole variety of kits every month. Plus, the team in itself is amazing and always challenges me to push myself as a scrapper.
MY FAVORITE LAYOUT:
My favorite is always changing, but here is one that showcases a little of my hometown.
