We are at the final stretch for THE DIGI FILES#20. Today is the last day to grab ALL of this digital goodness for just $5 total! You can see detailed images on our awesome designers page. It’s unbelievable, I know, but it is TRUE! After today, all of these products will go home with their designers and be added to their stores for full retail value!
Since THE DAILY DIGI is an ad-free site, THE DIGI FILES are the way we support what we do. It’s because of these designers (and our fabulous customers) that we are able to bring you such great content and resources!
THE DIGI FILES are also a great way for you to try products by new-to-you designers or styles at a very low risk! It really is a win for everyone!
If you haven’t grabbed August’s Playbook, be sure to download it as well for the tricks, tutorials, and play-by-plays for creating the layouts you saw on the site during August. Be sure to snag July and June’s as well, they will be gone soon
We would love to hear something new that you learned from any of the Playbooks we released this summer! Leave us a comment and SEVEN people will win $10 in digital scrapbooking products each!

thanks for the chance! i loved the glittertuto! thanks!
I really enjoy all the techniques and examples in the playbooks! One of the things I have really started doing is planning my entire layout digitally and then punching out shapes and photos to help add some dimension. Sometimes the final result is very hybrid and sometimes it is just a plan I have created digitally. I love having so many options for my scrapbooks and projects.
Since Iam new, this whole site is a learning experience! What a great deal the Daily Digi is! Amazing! I can’t wait to see what’s next!
The Digi Files are very informative so far. I am only part way through August’s and excited to learn and happy to have such a user friendly format. I think it’s awesome I am able to DL June & July too! Thank you!
So far, I have found the tutorial on gradients and clipping masks most useful. Mostly because I have not used them in my program much if at all. I am not new to digi, but I know that I do things in my digi program the hard way. There has to be a faster way, and I look forward to learing them.
I just blew my budget and bought this month’s Daily Digi! (Shhhh, no one tell the hubby!). It’s just such a bargin, how can I not? The templates just got me, plus the kits are great too! I’l just be eating more PB & J for lunch!
Hugs, Tif
Well this would be my first purchase of The Digi Files. I watched in June and July and NEW to digital scrapbooking I was so SCARED because these artist are so clever. But caved to TEMPTATION and bought Augusts. I am a paper scarper….so everything in the playbook was a new lesson. I’m excited to keep trying, learning and getting better. Excited for whats to come…Thank You!
I loved learning about warp shadows in PSE and how to use Flergs’ glitter styles. Thanks for the tips and playbooks. I look forward to next month’s!
I have loved playing with Emily Powers’ amazing photology goodies. I did a LO with them here:

Thanks so much for the playbooks! And the giveaway!
So very many great ideas. I need to learn more about shadowing and this will help! Thanks for the chance to win.
Love your blog, thanks for searching the web for us, finding the best in digi to use!
I enjoyed playing around with the Text Effect, from June, and was able to make a page with the words my son says every single time his dad leaves the house. It worked great! There are lots of great helps, in all the books. Thanks!
I loved the info on using glitter and the girl kit for a boy layout. Love this site!
Clustering elements in this months Playbook was great – something I shy away from.
I love all the eye candy in the playbooks. I like the layout ideas.
I LOVED all the kits in the August kit SO much! It was the best collection yet. It’s been a great summer!
I love the photo editing instructions on p.23 of this month’s Playbook!
Wheeeee! Thanks for the chance to win!
I have to say I had a lightbulb moment when I learned how to use Flerg’s glitter styles, esp for fonts. NOW I understand how awesome it is of her to create matching glitter styles for her kits!
I learned how to use the glitter styles!
Loved all the playbooks this summer! I especially enjoyed the info on photo blending and brushes! Thanks TDD for another great month!
Let me just say….shadows, shadows and shadows!
Gosh, it’s amazing what a HUGE difference a great drop shadow can do for a page! wow!
Thanks for the chance! xx Candi
I used all my kits in the june files and tried to recreate some LO from the playbook. It is a great way to learn!
Thanks for the chance to win!
kisses
I LOOOVEE the playbooks! I have some great new ideas for making my own board books thanks to an article you guys did. Thanks so much!!!! Now I wish I had 50 million hours to actually spend scrapping!
I love reading your blog and I LOVE the iPod app! I often refer to your blog first when I have Photoshop questions. Thanks!
I think my shadows too have improved after reading the tips in the play book. But what I enjoy most about it is that after a read through I am just itching to get scrapping- always good on a day when motivation is low.
Thank you so much for the chance to win, you are Fabulous! I appreciate the downloads of all the tutorials and now have a great resource to flip back to when creating. Keep up the great work!
I loved the tutorial on cutting irregular shapes from this past play book. I’m really enjoying these little books.
I have been crazy psycho busy the past few months and I’m just now starting to slow down and get back in the swing of things. The very first thing I read was this Blog and I oooo’d and ahhh’d over TDD#20. But then again, I ooo and ahhh over EVERY TDD. I love, love, love this site and you ladies with all the hard work you put into it. Ya’ll rock. You just really do. Thanks for everything ladies. And thanks for the opportunity to win!
I was grateful for the photo extraction tutorial. And how to use glitter, and shadow warping,… So many great ideas and tips — thank you!
Love the monthly playbook – it’s a great resource for techniques and inspiration. Thanks!
I learned how to use the glitter styles and how to warp shadows! I LOVE that!
I just read all 3 today and was astounded at the things I learned! I especially liked all the links provided to further learn things.
I really like having so many tips in one place! I really liked the tip on the gradient tool. Thanks so much for all that you do!
There have been lots of handy hints, but I especially appreciated Photo Extraction with Jenn in July’s playbook. Thanks so much for offering all these handy hints.
I am also a big fan of Flergs’ glitter! Thanks for all the wonderful info you provide ~ it’s awesome!
I used one of NeeNee’s templates to try my hand at clustering elements. I tend to not use a lot of elements so this was a challenge but it was easier to do with placeholders to show me where to put stuff.
I found the info on Flergs’ glitter styles VERY useful… I had no idea what those were used for!!
Only one thing I learned?! I’m completely new to this stuff so I have a long list of the most basic things I learned. I like the format of the playbook better than the online tutorials. Looking forward to September’s.
So many great tips were shared, so thank you! However, I always pat closest attention to those about shadowing; I find them most helpful!
I love the photo extraction tut about how to have a photo “pop” out of a frame in the July playbook – can’t wait to try it out!
Geesh, where do you begin. Inofrmation on all the different modes that you use in the layers has been so eductional. I also loved the page on creating rainbow word art.
Thanks so much for this added feature.
I love learning how to use the glitter, although I really need to sit down and read the other playbooks.
Love all the kits that you provide for the daily digi! Keep up the great work!
I so loved the little camera book full of hermit crabs. What a cute idea! It could be done so many ways! I absolutely LOVE the daily digi!! Thanks so much for all the wonderful tips and tricks. What would I do without you?
I loved that NeeNee was included in the digifiles this month and I also loved that you brought back Flergs for a 2nd time! Love her! <3
oh silly me…some of the stuff is SO simple but never knew the little tricks for it>
A text Box…LOL – never knew how to open one
and the creation of irregular lines (not straight)
I almost need to hit myself they were so simple!
what i love is putting them into my ipad and having reading material for the next few nites:) haven’t read in DAYS!!!!
ari….how do you get the playbook to your ipad? I would love to have that info at my fingertips! can you email me? threeunderfour at gmail dotty com
I really enjoyed the Digi Files this month. Can’t wait to see the next one. In the playbook I appreciated the info on shadow warping!
I have long wanted to learn more about the gradient tool; thanks for the page on that. And, I liked the tip for PSE to warp shadows; I had just dismissed the possibility, as I don’t have PS, but now I can do it! Thanks,
Barbara
I was reading one article on changing a girl kit to a boy layout and want to look at my kits a little differently. Thanks for the Playbook
Congratulations on another fabulous Digi month. Always love the tips in the Playbook and on the blog.
I too loved learning how to use the glitter! I love the way it can look so different from one layout to the next! Thanks for all the tips and ideas, they are a great help!!
Okay, I liked all the tips in the playbooks, but if I had to pick, I’m picking Hanging a Charm in the June playbook because it’s a way better method than my old one!
Learning about glitter styles was so great! I’d love more tutorials on applying styles to elements.
Thanks, Daily Digi!!!
I love learning new ways to use a kit and enjoyed how to make a boy layout using a girl kit.
I am new here…I am totally loving what I am seeing!! Can’t wait until I have more time to dig deeper!!
JUST discovered the August playbook today and am downloading RIGHT NOW – but for other things I love: I LOVE the dailydigi iphone app and ‘paperclipping’ podcast!!!
From the June Playbook, I learned how to create a border around a photo and, tucked in the same tutorial, a link to a tutorial on how to create a simple stroke effect for curved text in GIMP. Wonderful!
I haven’t had a chance to play with the playbook much, but am looking forward to delving in at a crop next weekend!
I learned about getting a “hole-punched” look. I love the digi files and playbook!
I love the playbooks. Many of the techniques I have read about or kind of knew how to accomplish but having them all in a document has been a great resource. I also love how they are written with a tone of conversation. You have an amazing CT! But, my favorite has to be Sunghee’s hybrid 4.75 x 4.75 album in July’s Playbook. She is amazing-that was so cool! Thanks!
My favs have already been mentioned. I’m loving knowing how to use Flergs glitters, and I still need more help with the shadows. Lovin’ my monthly digi files, funtastic Fridays and now the great playbooks!! Thanks for all you do.
Thanks for the chance to win! Love what you do every month
The Playbook’s have really helped me out with making realistic shadows.
I’m first? lol I can’t remember what I learned from the first two Playbooks–I’ve slept since then but with this month’s Playbook I learned about that guideline (who knew!) and how to use Flerg’s glitter on my fonts. I didn’t figure out how to apply them to a layer though. Thanks for a great month of info! Can’t wait till tomorrow!
