44 Comments »I am so excited that Janet has agreed to come back at least once a month and do her wonderful “Inspired By…” posts (she will be joining us now and then for other posts as well)! She really has an knack for finding AMAZING layouts and I can’t wait to see these posts from her each month!
It’s BIRTHDAY MONTH here at THE DAILY DIGI. It’s birthday season at our house, too. In three months we celebrate all SIX of our birthdays! It’s fun, it’s exciting, and it gives me LOTS of photos to scrap! I love birthday layouts! Although I tend to be more of an “every day moment” scrapper, birthdays are on of those events that I really do try to scrap. I want my kids to look back and see the different ways we celebrated their special day. So, as I was looking for some inspiration for our upcoming birthday season, here are just a few of the layouts that inspired me!
I just love this bright and happy layout. All of the fun and excitement of a first birthday was definitely captured!
This very simple layout is also very cool…I love the seven photos and the awesome design.
This layout shows that you can get lots of use out of your kits! The New Year’s kit used on this page makes a perfect birthday page for and eleven year old girl!
This bright and fun layout shares a story about a special birthday tradition!
I just love this idea! I have done interviews with my kids once or twice but I LOVE the idea of doing on their birthday. What a GREAT way to capture who they really are at each age!
This layout just makes me smile! I just love the happy colors up against the kraft paper background! And this is a great example of using lots of elements without crowding the page.
And this final layout shares a story of an eventful New Years Eve birth!

Totally inspired by the fact that most of your birthday layouts had only 1 to 2 photos! I’m always loading the page with nearly all the photos taken and it just gets messy. I am so inspired by the minimalist approach and will definitely try it! Love your new look, too!

Everyone of these birthday layouts are in my “to scraplift” folder, but Lizzy’s Birthday layout (the first one) is AWESOME! I really, really love it! I too love the minmalist approach to birthdays since it’s a busy time and I’m not always at the camera to catch everything. Love to see you back too Janet!

I take inspiration from this post. If you can believe it– I am horrible at the birthday layouts because I’m doing so many things, I forget to take pictures.

I love scrapping birthdays
I have never scrapped just one or two photos of a b-day. I’ve got to remember that sometimes less is more! These pages are all beautiful! Thank you for the inspiration.

Janet, you have me SOOOOO inspired…however, I don’t know anyone who has any birthdays!
KIDDING!!!!!!!!!! I would say that birtday photos are literally the one catagory that I would like to get caught up on the most. I have an 18 and a 12 year old, so that is 30 birthdays that I need to scrap of jUST my kids. Not to mention…myself, my niece, my mom, my friends! I am thinking I will incorporate some sort of collage-type layout for many, for me it’s about he photos and the memories, not so much that I have to feel that I have scrapped every single birthday photo.
You really, really are an AWESOME insiration, girl!
