I am so excited to welcome the brand new store Mscraps to THE DIGI FILES this month! When I sent Joyce an email to invite her to contribute to THE DIGI FILES, she shared with me a little secret about the new site she was going to be launching. When she told me about the designers that were going to be involved, I asked her immediately if we could schedule the store to contribute as well. Such awesome talent at this new site! Let’s take a closer look at the Mscraps’ contribution:

My name is Joyce Paul, I am 26 years old (almost 27) and I live in the south The Netherlands. (Limburg) I have been married to my English hubby Nick for almost 6 years. (juli).
Some random things about me:
I love music and I always sing when I’m in the shower or when I’m driving.
When I was younger, my cousins and I “formed” a girlband called: “Jolish” – the first 2 letters of our names. (Joyce – Lindsay – Sharon) LOL — Of course, we didn’t get any further than our garage 
(we aways used to sing and dance in their garage)
I am very Family orientated – love my Family, I am a good listener – so they say
I’d rather help other people than myself (always thinking about other people even if – sometimes – it would be best to think about me first)
I can be shy, but I can be outgoing as well (when I am around people I feel comfortable with)
I don’t like drama
I don’t drink or smoke
I’d rather stay at home and watch a movie than go out
I love indonesian food – my grandfather is Indonesian
you can wake me up in the middle of the night to feed me “pepesan” or “surimi (crab) sticks”

To duplicate elements directly on your layout (not using Layers Palette or menus). Click on intended element, press and hold down the option key (on a mac – ALT key on a PC), your courser should turn into a double arrow, drag where you want the new element to be. As you are dragging you can release the option (ALT – pc) key. Also if you hold the shift key while moving things around it will move them in straight horizontal, vertical, or 45 degree angles, also great when trying to keep things aligned.

We officially opened up our doors on January 30th, 2010, I lost my job in June 2009 due to the economic crisis and because it was difficult to find a new job, I decided to start up my own business.
It is our hope at MScraps to bring you gorgeous quality desings in a fresh array of styles! We also have lots of fun behind the scenes and it’s our wish to bring that energy out into our community!

If you ever have a question or need some help in your native tongue, there is a really good chance we can help you out and we encourage you to stop by! Well, you might not know that we have started off with a bang and have loads of amazing challenges happening all the time at the site! Winners of challenges will be awarded credit to use in the shoppe, so if you are new to us or want to try us out, challenges are a great way to do that!

Was recommended to go to Mscraps by quite a few people and so far very good! It’s a very warm welcoming community and has some fabulous designers and great challenges – and the gallery is amazing too.

MScraps is definitely one of my favorite stores. Amazing designers so it’s so hard to narrow down the choices. “Noticed” by Three Paper Peonies and Monalisasmiles is calling my name though.
I think I am in trouble, I see a whole load of things I am in love with, but to name one I’ll start with . . .
Imagination Collab kit, or maybe Serenity, or . . . I’m afraid my list will become quite long.
So many fabulous kits to choose from picking one is almost impossible!! But I really like the Ready for Spring collab.

My favorite thing from Mscraps (that is on my wishlist) is Mumbai Lullaby by Polly & Rufus and Joyce Paul.
BUT, I also really love the New Beginnings Collab which I got for free when I participated in their grand opening events. It is a wonderful store and community.

I have always liked anything by Kelley Mickus but now I see other designers who are new to me that I admire…Garden Party by Three Paper Peonies(and who doesn’t love a peony???)and Mumbai Lullaby by Joyce Paul (perfect for our son’s destination wedding this summer!)

Hi! My absolute favorite is My Love by Jazzmin Designs and Joyce Paul. It’s because I *pretend* to like the clean and simple look for LOs, but I really like stuff covering the page from edge to edge hahahaha.

Hard to choose a favorite — they are ALL wonderful! I’m particulary liking Off The Beaten Path (Jenn Barrette and Lauren Grier).
So many cute kits! My favorites are Outlaw, Snips and Snails, Technotronic, Hi Tek Wub, You are so Retro, and Out of this World.
Love the paper colours in Wonderland, and also really like the My Little One kit from Sabrina

I LOVE Wonderland by Jenn Barrette. Both my kids are in an Alice in Wonderland production next month, and this would be PERFECT…plus it’s so classy that you could do other layouts with it as well.

What a great store! The ones that stand out for me are Big Dreams and Pocket Treasures – I love all of the elements and Technotronic.

Talk about feeling like a kid in a candy store..Oh my word there are some really fine products in MSCRAPS’s store but if I had to pick one to shout out about it would be “Hello” by Vesi Designs.
