I am thrilled to be welcoming Gina as a contributor to THE DIGI FILES this month! Gina has been a “staple” in the digital community since I first started digital scrapbooking and was someone that I have always admired (both her scrapping and designing). Her team was one of my “dream teams” for a long time, until I finally made the call and was able to be on her team for a couple of years! Gina really rocks the boy kits like no one else I know!
Here’s a closer look at Gina’s contribution to THE DIGI FILES:

Hi, my name is Gina Cabrera, I’m a thirty-something SAHM and live in sunny Phoenix, AZ with my wonderful husband and two boys ages 12 and 16.

My favorite process for extractions in Photoshop is:

Select>>Inverse
Ctrl+J

I stared paper scrapping when my first son was born. In 2002 I got my first digital camera and wanted to create a custom Christmas Photo Card. I immediately fell in love with creating my own designs on the computer and I haven’t looked back. I really wanted to share my designs, so, in early 2004 I launched my site.

My photos have always inspired me. I love creating papers and elements specifically for my layouts. I then turn all that inspiration into a kit

I have a PC that my wonderful husband built for his digi obsessed wife. It has 8 gigs of DDR 2 RAM and PSCS2.
My camera is a Nikon D70 with a kit lens, 50mm and 70-300.
I also have a 6 X 11 Wacom Intuos 3.

My fave has got to be Shabby Shack! And thanks so much for the coupon!
I’ve got several things by Gina and yet I always forget to check her site for new stuff! I’m bookmarking it right now.
As for a favorite… well it changes with every kit I look at! I think I’ll have to say the Parker kit. I love the colors.
Wow! It looks like there is another Noelle On here. I have been trying to get the comments to open for about an hour. I would go with Christmas Joy. I thought I had it, but looked and it is not on any of my drives. That is my choice! I have probably more than 40% – so I can say I really like her style too!
Oh I love Christmas Joy and Let ‘em eat cake! But I think I must have Parker for my boys. Cute stuff!
Boy this is a tough one for me. I already own about 40% of Gina’s store, so obviously I love them all.
1 kit that I love and don’t own yet is “Parker”, so I’m going to go with that one.
Jammie
What a tough decision! I love so many of them but I think I would probably actually use Zoom-Zoom the most.
I love this Snow Day kit! The colors are so mellow and soft!
I love Penelope… The name and the kit!
LOVE everything from DDE – especially the Cozy Comfy Fall MEGA Kit and My Funky Studio MEGA Kit. I’m a sucker for Gina’s Idea Notebooks!
I love the colors of Catch a Star!
I love the neutrals in Twiggy MEGA kit.
Hhmmm, this is tough. I love Gina’s design style. I’d have to say that my favorites are Parker (because everyone with a little boy needs this kit), and book bag essentials (I’m still a beginner and this kit comes in handy quite often.
Thank you so much for introducing me to this fabby designer. I love her work. And thanks to Gina for the coupon……………I’ve used it already!!!
I love Parker. The colors are beautiful and soft. Thanks so much for the coupon!
I really like Shabby Shack – had a great time looking
Wow, that was difficult, but i really really like “Parker”
Thanks for a chance, now to see about that coupon!
Hugs

The real answer is what of Gina’s do I *not* love? Because I love EVERYTHING of hers and have since I started digi-scrapping in late 2004. Her Halloween kit from that year is still one of my favorites! But since we have to list ONE thing – I’m in a Valentiney kind of mood – so Lovey Dovey is high on my “Ooooh, I need that kit” list.
Love Love LOVE everything in your shop, but especially this kit right now, Let ‘Em Eat Cake.
DS 1st birthday is coming up soon and I have been eying that kit LOL
thanks for the chance!!
I really like Catch A Star
I LOVE the candyland alpha! I love MOST of the kits there, but that alpha is just wonderful and so unique! thanks so much for the gorgeous kit this month, too!! woot!
I love, love, love Parker and My Funky Studio! But there is sooo much more I love too. I’m excited to find a designer that does boy kits!! I have all boys!!
I have quite a stash of Gina’s things. I too enjoy the design books. My favorite kit is her Merry and Bright Mega Kit. I just love the shabby chenille Christmas tree!
Also, the stars in the Happy Go Lucky mini kit are fun and you can’t resist them at the price of her mini kits. Thanks Gina for your kit in the digi files this month.
I love Gina’s style! My favorite kit is Garden Party. It’s so happy, with wonderful colors!
I really liked Zoom, Zoom and Let ‘Em Eat Cake kits.
Gina was the first person I ever purchased from. Her products have always been such great quality and I always love her color schemes!
Oh, favorite current product would be Christmas Joy! Would be so perfect for my Christmas photos from this year.
Boy, this is hard, but my fave in her store is Surfer Betty.
I have bought a lot in the store already, but I really like Neutrality. It’s on top of my wantlist.
I love the My Funky Studio mega kit. Such great colors for scrapping guy photos.
I love “Neutrality” but “Zoom Zoom” is a close second! Wonderful kits!
Love the kit for this month’s digi files!! My favorite kit of Gina’s has to be Cozy Comfy Fall, love the warm colors!! Thanks for the great coupon Gina!
I just LOVE the Two Turtle Doves kit! I’ve just finished Shimelle’s Journal Your Christmas class and I would have loved to use that kit. Wish I’d seen it sooner
Better buy it now and do another journal! lol
You can’t go wrong with anything Gina! I got her 2010 calendar kit. Some of my faves are Neutrality and Catch a Star.
Wow that’s a gorgeous winter kit! And those chalkboard speech bubbles are pretty cool!
I think my favorite is the Wonderland kit – I love the colors, closely followed by Penelope. I’m looking forward to using Gina’s products.
I am really loving Christmas Joy! Gina is a huge fav of mine
I’ve loved Gina’s designs since I first found her in 2004. Great contribution to the Digi Files! My favorite (of the ones I have) is Let ‘em Eat Cake. I somehow missed Neutrality until now, but I love that one, too!
3 way tie….surfer dude–little bird mini–and Neutrality.
sooo many truly wonderful designs, though!
Love Gina’s stuff. Looking through the store, I already have a lot of her kits (LOVE Parker and Penelope kits!), and I love the grab bags she does- Idea Notebooks. Right now I’m wanting the Shabby Shack and Jubilant mega kits. Thanks for the chance to win!
I’ve never seen this designer before. I love what I’ve seen in this post so I’m off to her shop to look around. Thanks for introducing me to someone new!
I am in love with the kit from TDF, it is so cozy… From her shop I love, love, love her Parker Kit. I love the colors, it is perfect for my little boy. And it has some fantastic elements!
The digi files kit is so soft and cozy – just what we need in the mid of winter! I love her Wheels on the Bus kit … with three boys I’m loving her pefectly masculine style!
I love Gina’s style. Having a winter kit without blue in it will really help to scrap those brown and grey pictures of wintertimes without snow! I discovered a lot of “want to have” stuff in Gina’s store, but my favorite one is the “Parker Alpha”. The colors and the shape are so cute!
I love her designs, and I’m loving the kits in this months files.
I love Gina, too! She was one of the first designers I found. My favorite kit is Twiggy but I love her “idea notebooks” and can’t wait to see what she’s putting together for the next one. I love the unique elements that always come in the notebooks and her color combinations always rock! Thanks!
Good looks inside the shop!
Her Candyland alpha is just darling!
Good thing there’s a coupon! My favorites are: Book Bag, Little Bit o Funk and My Funky Studio. I do like the way Gina does her previews. It’s really easy to see everything in the kit. Thanks Gina.
It is really hard to choose my favorite. I LOVE Gina’s alpha’s! If I must pick only one, it would be her Crossword Alpha.
Her boy kits certainly are fun! I love the Digi File kit she did too!
My favorites are Crisp Fall Day and Parker. I love your Up, Down layout. Beautiful contribution to this month’s Digi Files too.
Wow she really is a goddess! her designs are so pretty!!! I am off to look at her shops!!
My favorite kit of hers is Penelope…..it is so soft and pretty!
