If you are a template user, don’t be afraid to change them up a little to suit your needs. Modify them, and make them your own! Shift layers around, rotate or flip the template, add extra embellishments, simplify it by removing layers, add extra mats….there are so many possibilities with them. You will be surprised at how many different looking layouts you can get using one template! Also, if you are trying to find other ways to save time scrapping, definitely put the time into into learning some of the shortcut keys for Adobe programs….it is totally worth it! This website, which was passed along to me a while back, is a great resource for shortcuts, and it even includes printable PDFs.

I have been digi-scrapping for about 4 years, shortly after the birth of my 2nd child. I was originally a paper scrapper, but it was too time consuming and messy with kids around, and glue became my worst enemy. I came across digi-scrapping online one day and have never turned back. I started out slowly and finally worked up the nerve to start a gallery and apply for some creative teams, and was lucky enough to get a spot on the Creative Team at the Sweet Shoppe in August 2007. At the same time I started doing quick pages and albums for various designers, which led into designing and selling templates At the end of March 2010 I moved my store to the fabulous Sweet Shoppe which I have loved for so many years. The community, designers, creative team, and owner Robin Carlton are all amazing
My photos are always my first and foremost source of inspiration for all of my creations. I absolutely love doing multi-photo layouts and they are actually a lot easier for me to do than single photo ones. When creating templates and/or layouts, I always start figuring out where I want my photos positioned, then play around with different shapes and numbers layers and papers, until I obtain a basic design I am happy with. Sometimes I am inspired by an ad layout, and sometimes a design will pop into my head and I will sketch it out, but generally I just come up with ideas for new templates by playing around in Photoshop
My computer is a AMD Athlon 4200+ Dualcore with 3GB of RAM. I use Adobe Photoshop CS2. I have a Canon Rebel XTi, Canon EF-S 18-200mm 3.5-5.6 IS Lens, Speedlite 430EXII

beautiful templates Cindy! I would love to have Baby’s First Year or Year in Review I and II. They would be perfect for the family year end book that I put together for my parents each year. I recently found Cindy’s templates… I was so excited I bought her whole store when she moved to her new location. I wait for every Sat. to buy her new set. So I would have to say I would love the new one coming out Sat.

Well, I love Cindy’s templates, but since I am about a month away from having my 2nd DS, I have to say I am eyeing the Baby’s 1st Year Template!
I love template 44 & 45. They are all fabulous though.
Well, I already have a bunch of these because I love Cindy’s templates, but I still need #47 and #48, so I’d those two are my favorites right now.

I have to agree with the girls that said I want it all!!! That said you can’t go past a great year in review or 365 template! So I’d be up for all of those and the baby’s first year too… which I can see would be useful for more than just babies.

Love all the templates in Cindy’s store. If I had to pick a fav, I guess Set 35 would be it. I have just recently started using templates and love the ease of doing so. Awesome templates Cindy!!
I am a huge fan of templates. They take the guess work out of design, but you can still be creative and original. Cindy’s templates are fantastic. I really like set #45. I like the tilt on some of them, and I love that Cindy always shows journaling. Another template I really like is the Baby’s first year. I have been doing paper first year albums for my grandchildren. Unfortunately, I have three granddaughters between 3 and 4 and none of their first year albums are done. And although I promised their mothers they would be done in paper, not digitally, their title page should be done with Cindy’s template.
Template sets 43 and 47 are my fav’s. I love one to two photo layouts so I can focus on my story.

I’ve been a huge fan of Cindy’s templates from day one and since we were part of the same CT, i had the fabulous opportunity to grab them all for absolutely nothing ! YAY for me ! I just love Cindy and her templates. I’ve been a regular Cindy stalker ever since I discovered her templates. These alone make the $5 worth it!
I really enjoy using templates. It’s like when I first started paper scrapping and discovered fonts–it felt like cheating when I needed to make titles. With templates, you can create so many looks and it’s like Mary Fran said “Easy Peasy”! Cindy’s templates are so beautifully layered–you just can’t go wrong!

I like these in particular because they have a large focal picture and I print my LOs 8 x 8″. Tiny pictures get lost

I love Cindy’s templates. She makes making great eye-catching pages easy. I really like her layered templates, particularly Set 43. It’s hard for me at times to just put one picture on a page and I always have this impulse to layer. With this set, I can be challenged and get to give in to my impulses! I have been a fan of Cindy’s for some time. Her templates are AWESOME! Her year in review and P365 templates have multiple pcitures which realy come in handy. I also like the way she bundles her templates and saves us money.
