I am really excited to welcome Anna to THE DIGI FILES this month! Anna has a fun and whimsical style that works well for digital scrapbookers that want to create paper looking OR fanatasy style. I always find something in her kits that brings a smile to my face. Here is a closer look at her contribution:

This is just ONE of SEVEN collections that you receive when you purchase THE DIGI FILES! What a great way to try out new-to-you designers or maybe even a style that you don’t normally buy. It’s always fun to push our scrapping creativity! Here are some layouts created with ‘Sunshine After Rain’ (don’t you just love that name?):

Layout by Melissa L, additional supplies: Font is DJB Gimme Space, Gina Marie Huff alpha

Layout by Karen, additional supplies: Lauren Reid Clearly Trimmed; Font is Take Out the Garbage

Layout by SharonS (a reader), additional supplies: Template: Janet Phillips, Fonts: Oh Photo Shoot, Pea Jane

Layout by Steph, fonts: Printing Primer and p22 Cezanne

I’m 35 years old, staying-at-home mom of two kids (4 and 2), I’m living in Austria right now.

When I’m finished with a new product or LO, I usually put it aside for a day or at least a few hours. After the “rest period” I look at it with fresh eyes and often make one or two changes which improves the page (or preview if it’s a product) a lot.

When I was living in the US I started making forum siggies on mommies’ boards, and that’s how I first met digital scrapbooking products. I didn’t use them a lot in my siggies, but most other siggy designers did, and I knew immediately that I wanted to make digiscrap elements myself. Which is exactly what I did, so I was a designer BEFORE I was a proper scrapper.

For themes, I’m usually inspired by things my kids say, do or have, for colors I often turn to interior design magazines.

I have a real-life tool box, full of ribbons, and strings, and clips, and beads, and buttons, and an amazing collection of useless and indescribable bits and pieces. And I also have a virtual toolbox on my computer. I have a DELL laptop with Linux installed on it. My main programs are GIMP and Inkscape, and lately I also use PSE. My camera is a Sony Alpha 200. I have a Wacom Bamboo Fun tablet and loving it!

I really like Love You to Bits and Then Santa Came…Also Beads on the Sand. Good designs.
Hot in Here would be great for creating a page about DD’s current love of fire trucks – she asks her dad to search the internet for anything about fire trucks!
Love the fresh eyes tip, I do the same thing!
I love your kits on music! I have grandchildren who are very involved in instrument and singing lessons. I can just envision using your supplies with pictures from their concerts. Thank you! I’m off to use the coupon right now.
So many beautiful kits…i really like “Love Like You Mean It”. Thanks for the chance to win!
Right now, the “Moments of Love” looks like the kind of kit I would purchase from her store.
Well, I guess I have to be the odd gal out here. Spring Cleaning really drew me in the the beautiful aqua (or turquoise) and red. It is the time of year for me to get with that spring cleaning and this kit really looks fun.
It’s a hard choice but I love “Live Like You Mean It”.
I love Anna’s designs and own some of her designs, but 2 kits I love and don’t have are ShamROCKZ which would help me complete my Ireland vacation album, and On Wings of Dreams, just love the colors and all the cute LO’s that you could make with it.
I love Anna’s kits! My favorite kit of hers (that I don’t own already) is Showers and Flowers. I’ll have to use the coupon (thanks!) to pick it up!
Maybe it’s the Irish in me, but I *love* “Only the Lucky”
Went to check Anna BV store after reading the Daily Digi … I guess she is not my favorite designer although she does have some cool things like her quick page and some add-ons …
My favorite would be “Love You To Bits” kit and “He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not”.
But unfortunately, I’m not fond of the other kits …
Sincerely, Karine.
I like Strawberry Sweet, Beads in the Sand, and the Fairy Spring alpha. Thanks for the intro to a new-to-me designer.
I think the “Music in my Heart” is really great, especially for the music related layouts I do.
My absolute, absolute, absolute favorite is It’s a Boy’s World! I love ALL of the pieces!
I love her kit It’s a Boy’s World. Thanks for the chance to win!
I have been shopping at the orchard for a while now so I am familiar with a lot of Anna’s designs, unfortunately I don’t have much of her stuff in my stash, I LOVE it ALL, and it’s hard to decide which I like the most right now, but if I had to chose it would be ‘Live like you mean it’, I love the colors and I looked at the inspiration lo’s posted and I liked em all, and pictured my photos with that kit so that’s the kit I would choose right now.
Thanks for the chance too, I LOVE TDD!!
I love her designs and can’t believe how many kits of hers I already own. I love Chit Chat and Chocolate.
Music in Your Heart looks great (:
I love “The Icecream Truck Stops Here.” Very cute!
