Thank you for this Steph! I've been having scrapper's block lately, mainly due to performance anxiety about my pages not being brilliant or perfect. This really puts it in perspective.

Love #3, I also love doing challenges, as it also gets me to do layouts that I wouldn't necessarily done on my own, such as using a certain number of elements, or certain colors, etc. Plus, the points and free stuff is great incentive and I get a finished layout out of it as well!

My blog has helped immensely now that I'm doing my 5 year old baby album. I used to write about her milestones as a baby and it's come SO handy now for the journaling. I am a writer at heart, so journaling comes easy for me and I do like Rachel, I'm always writing about the daily life in a little journal.

Nice tips!

I LOVE this post! Thanks for the great journaling ideas. This will most definetely help me remember when I'm ready to scrap. I don't get much time anymore with the kids multiple sports activities so having this preserved for when I have time and am ready to scrap are wonderful ideas!

Great Ideas... Thank you for this cool post. Some of these I practice, and others I need some help on. The journaling and stories told is one I need help on. I'm a photographer, so I don't always think to write down the story, because I was so caught up in the image. I love the idea to blog about the little things each day Privately so that I have it to copy and paste later.
