This post is brought to you by all the readers that purchase THE DIGI FILES! THANK YOU!!
First, I want to share a few funtastic things we have going on here…We have been making some changes around the site that I wanted to share with all of you. If you are in a reader, it’s a good time to come poke around a bit. First, we’ve changed some categories in the sidebar:
The first category change is that we changed the category “Sponsor Spotlight” to “Contributor Features”. We realized from the surveys that there is some confusion about the designers that contribute to THE DIGI FILES. Some readers are under the impression that designers PAY to contribute. They also think that they PAY for the write-ups in the features that I do for the designers. No designer has ever paid to be featured in THE DIGI FILES. No designer has ever paid for the write-ups I do. One of the questions I ask myself when considering a designer for THE DIGI FILES is, “Can I write an honest, review about this designer and their designs?” If the answer is no, then the designer is not invited to contribute. Because the word SPONSOR indicates that someone is paying to participate, we are working on removing that term from our vocabulary on this site. Every designer that creates quality product and conducts themselves professionally in the community has an opportunity to contribute to THE DIGI FILES, no matter how much money they can or can’t pay.
We changed the name of the “More with Four” category to Reader Challenge. We had actually changed the challenge back in January to include one product from each designer. This is definitely a challenge to create a layout with 6-7 products, created by as many different designers, and chosen by someone else. I have really been stretched in my creativity and software use by participating in this challenge.
We added a Type category for all things related to one of my favorite things…Type! We are still working on recategorizing some articles, but there is some great information there now!
We also added a category called, “Let’s Scrap That!” where we give you layout and product ideas for scrapping events and other things you might want to scrap. We have been doing this for a while, but categorizing them somewhere else, this will make them easy for you to find!
If you click on this button over in the sidebar, you will be directed to an area of the site I have been spending a lot of time lately. I have been linking up and adding information to our tutorials section. All in the hopes that you will be able to find what you need quickly. Here are the categories we have added:

A link back to the main tutorials page was more for me, but you might appreciate it too.

A direct link to the “Digital Scrapbooking Terms” post.

We added an organization category that has links to all of our posts and outside resources related to organization.

A new category that will help you create stunning layouts!

A new category that has lots of technique tutorials to help you learn your program.

We added a category all about titles and how to create some fun effects!

Another new category all about SAVING TIME when scrapping! Who doesn’t need that!?

Finally, a direct link to the article on Monitor Callibration!
Creatively Unstable is the newest episode of the Paperclipping Digi Show with guests:
In this show we talk about fantasy layouts, what are they? Why do people scrap that way? It was a really enlightening discussion for me! I mentioned June’s Playbook that contains tutorials for some of the techniques discussed in the show, if you don’t have it, you will enjoy the techniques you will find inside.
