Freezing Funtastic Friday

Katie and I went to CHA in Anaheim California (insert: Disneyland) and they had a severe cold front come through while we were there. We…well…I froze! I came home to even colder temperatures; today the high was 1 degree Fahrenheit all morning. It did warm up to 5 in the afternoon. So, as I sat here working on this very long Funtastic Friday, I kept thinking to myself, “I’m freezing!” I decided to just go with it as the title today!

Katie and I also got to meet Peppermint for the very first time while we were at CHA (I stole the above photo from Peppermint’s Instagram page). It was a crazy surreal experience for the first few hours we were together. It was wonderful and amazing to spend time, in person, with someone we have chatted with at least once a week for over a year and a half. We were able to get together with several other digital designers, store/site owners, team members, and people we have had on The Digi Show as guests. It was a great weekend!

While we were there, Katie, Peppermint, and I were joined by Katrina Kennedy and Kami Leonard to record a LIVE Digi Show. It was crazy, and might be a little crazy to listen to. My son shared his thoughts with me while I was editing and they weren’t good (something along the lines of, this is pure craziness that no one will understand). Thankfully, most of the part he was referring to was edited out.  When my youngest daughter found out that part would be cut (all 10 minutes of silliness) she cried.  Go ahead and have a listen for yourself:

Seeing how the trends of digital scrapbooking from last year are just hitting paper this year, made me very proud of our designers in the digital community.  I am honored that I get to work with so many of them regularly!!
