Q: What is digital scrapbooking and how do I get started?

A: Look HERE for lots of great information on just getting started.  This section will grow significantly over the new few months so keep checking back and send your friends who want to learn!

Q: Who designed this really cool site?

A: Kathy Moore of The Blog Shoppe did all the techy stuff I don’t know how to do.  istockphoto.com, Photoshop Elements, and I did the rest :)

Q: What font did you use in your header and other graphics?

A: My very favorite font: GIGGLES by Fontologie at Scrapbook Graphics

Q: Are you (Janet Phillips) still selling templates?

A: My templates are no longer available at Scrapbook Graphics. Closing my shop was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do.  However, I wanted (at least for now!) to be able to devote the time and energy needed to this site.   While I won’t be designing and selling on a consistent basis, I have a feeling you will see some of my templates here at the TDD every once in a while.

A: Yep, Steph is the master behind FONTOLOGIE fonts and you can find them HERE.

Q: What are the DIGI FILES?

A: The DIGI FILES are a monthly “grab bag” of sorts made up of contributions from a variety of designers from around the community. Throughout the month we will spotlight the contributing designers and you can their contribution to the DIGI FILES as well as some of the amazing stuff in their own store.  The first DIGI FILES will be available starting January 15.

Q: Do you have spaces open for advertisers?

A: No, not at this time. I want to keep the site blinkie and banner free and to have the site content driven rather than advertisement driven. Individual designers will be invited to sponsor the site on a monthly basis but at this time I am not taking applications. In the future, I may introduce some advertising options that will not detract from the site content, but that is pretty low on the priority list.
