the-undigi1One of my favorite things to do (and great ways to waste spend time) is enjoying the wonderful world of Etsy.  It still surprises me how many times I have mentioned Etsy to someone and they had no idea what I was talking about. So in case you didn’t know, Etsy is

One of the things I LOVE about Etsy is the opportunity it gives artists to have their own business — often from home.  Real people with real talent being able to run real businesses.  I love it!  And there are some AMAZING treasures to uncover.  You can spend hours days looking through all the amazing things.  In a quick trip through with no real destination in mind, I came across these amazing products (all images are clicakble):

This gorgeous sling purse is made by the same lady who makes some AMAZING laptop bags (I have ordered two from her!)

Whatever you need, want, desire…Etsy has it all.  Spend some time enjoying the amazing talent and fresh inspiration.  You’ll be glad you did!

Love the Etsy! I’m one of those that just ‘found’ this wonderful place of happiness..one of my sweet friends recently opened an Etsy store to sell her beautiful handmade jewelry. She would love it if y’all would stop by. http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=6879728

Have a restful and blessed Sunday!

My favorite thing about Etsy is that I get lots of great ideas for my own projects. Sadly, I always seem to say “I can make that” and then I never do, which means I usually end up buying way more from etsy shops than I should. I have several friends with etsy shops and I love sharing their creativity with others and supporting their amazing shops. I am constantly amazed at the creativity of those around me.

Thanks so much for the Etsy update. I went right over and purchased that cute maryjane shoe pattern for my sweet little twin granddaughters. Thanks again.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Etsy. You can get really affordable and UNIQUE items. Also, I love the idea of cutting out the middle man and purchasing directly from the artist. Thanks for the eye candy!

I LOOOOVE ETSY! However, perhaps you can settle a little friendly wager my friend and I have going on:

I say it’s pronouced as Ette-sy or , she says it’s pronounced Itsy (as in the itsy bitsy spider LOL!)… who is correct!? Oh please say it’s me!!! LOL!

Thank you for all of your awesome inspiration and information. I love your site!

    Warm regards,
    Candice

P.S. if you have time, can you email me the answer to our wager at candice1973 (at) comcast (dot) net.

Funnily enough, I had just spent about 20 minutes at etsy before I read your post! Yes, I love it too! Just bought two fabulous wrap skirts from a great seamstress. I also love that I’m contributing to the “little guy” and not big businesses with tons of excess money.

  9. Kim says:

Ugh. I’ve spent most of my weekend browsing Etsy. Instead of Easter baskets, my kids are getting handmade purses. Of course, I had to custom order myself a bag. Or three. Must. Stop.

  10. Natalie says:

This is off the etsy website!

    How is “Etsy” pronounced?
Etsy rhymes with the girls’ name Betsy.
