Dessert Tables

It’s no secret that I (Katie) have a sweet tooth. I love sweets, treats, and desserts both for eating and for photographing so dessert tables are right up my alley! What’s a dessert table? It’s basically a display of themed goodies and it’s a popular trend in entertaining right now. If you are going to talk about dessert tables, you have to mention Amy Atlas who is famous for her sweet displays. Check out her portfolio at AmyAtlas.com. Amy shared some of her tips on Style Me Pretty. There are also plenty of other dessert table artists out there, anyone can put together a fun display!

Here are some of my favorites – (all images are linked)

Oh Katie, they’re gorgeous inspiration. I used an example of TomKat Studio’s ideas for my daughter’s bday last year. It was a smash hit.. thanks for sharing.

Great timing for this post, Katie! :) My youngest’s 2nd birthday is coming up in less than a month. I love the Sesame Street themed table. We made [well, attempted to make] similar Cookie Monster cupcakes for my oldest’s 2nd birthday a few years ago. I was thiking of doing something different for boy #2, but the Sesame Street characters really are a favorite for this age. :)
