Color me happy!

If you are new to The Daily Digi you might not know that we take a day off each week from posting about digital scrapbooking.  We like to share some of our favorite finds and ideas that aren’t necessarily related to digi scrapping. It’s nice to have a little break each Sunday to get our minds refreshed and our creativity flowing again.

I (Katie) remember the thrill of getting a new coloring book. I didn’t do a lot of coloring as a kid, but I bet I would have if Crayola.com had been around back then! Nowadays, kids don’t have to wait until a special trip to the store to have new coloring pages, they can be printed anytime right off the internet! While there are a lot of free coloring page sites out there, the Crayola site has always been my favorite. They have high quality coloring pages, printable games, craft projects, and even plenty of educational materials for teachers and students.

Even if you don’t have kids at home, you might enjoy this site to print off fun activities to do with grandchildren. My daughter likes to print out coloring sheets to take with her on babysitting jobs. Even though my kids are teenagers, I regularly use this site to print off bingo games and fun educational supplements for our homeschool program.

You will need to register to use the site. It’s free and very easy to do. Here are some of my favorite finds:

I’m suddenly in the mood to pull out a box of crayons and have some fun of my own! One of my very favorite things in life is a brand new box of Crayola crayons!

Thank you so much for posting this. I’ve been printing off coloring pages recently as I’m trying to teach my daughter to color. I’ll definitely be checking out Crayola!

I love going to the Crayola Factory here in PA with the kids! In the factory store, they have huge bins of color sorted new crayons… My favorite part of the experience! ;)

I’ve been known in the past when I did a lot of paper piecing, to print out coloring pages and use them! I, too, love a new box of crayons! When they’re 25¢ a box, I buy a bunch–some to keep at home for the grandsons, and others for the prize box at school. They’re hot property this time of year! Thanks for the website!

This is great, thanks! I’ve never gone to Crayola.com but with summer right around the corner this will be a terrific resource. I agree with you-a new box of crayons is a thing of beauty & FUN!
