Layouts We Love {January 2016}

It’s been a few months since we have shared some of the amazing layouts from our Flickr pool. Every time I go in there, I am blown away by the creativity and inspiration that abounds. I had a hard time choosing favorites since there are just so many! I did my best, though!

It’s a Happy Day by bessysue581: Such a fun layout! I love the text border and the pops of color with the black and white photo and dark background paper. This instantly jumped out at me!

Worried by Danica Staples: I’ve always been a fan of no-photo layouts, and this page is no exception. Telling our stories is such an important part of the scrapping process. It benefits us now as we get to “think out loud” and it benefits us in the future as we look back on the thread of our lives.

Cherish Love by breeoxd: I love the way she used a vertical photo and paired int next to a big journaling card. It is such a striking design. Even on a “busy” page, she created negative space with the journaling card, giving the eyes a place to rest. So pretty!

He’d Prefer by Liz Toms: This layout is so darling! I love the sweet photos along with a cute story. The little moments of our children’s lives come and go so quickly. It’s important to record the memories while we still remember them!

Be You by staciahall33: What an incredible layout! The design is nothing short of fabulous. I especially love all the color popping against the black!

Mellow by lynettew: Sharing about who we are is so important! I love that she took the time to share something about her personality and how she feels about it. I can imagine her great-granddaughter coming across this page and thinking, “Oh, so that’s where I get it from!”

Names by Tifff3fs: This page is such a signs-of-the-times layout! I loved reading the stories about children’s names and how they evolve and change over time. Such a cool thing to scrap about!

Trust by MlleTerraMoka: My attention was caught with the large photo along! I love the cropping of the photo and the word art on the negative space is just perfect.

Scrappy Dreams and Wishes by Jenn jk703: What’s not to love? So many cool things about this page: the bright colors paired with the black and white, the fun hexagons, the great use of patterned papers, the fantastic font work, sharing of a special part of her life….it all adds up to PERFECT.

2015 by the Numbers by breeoxd: Another fantastic no-photo layout! I love the diagnal and divided design of this page as well as the fun way she documented her year in numbers. And woo hoo for the 126 scrapbook pages done!

Thank you to everyone who shares their amazing creativity in our Flickr pool. You are all such an inspiration to all of us!
