Rosey Posey is joining us once again in The Digi Files! Rosey Posey has a very artistic style that is versatile enough to be used in a digital layout OR an art journal page. I love the art canvas feel of her papers with all of the colors, blending, and textures. Her contribution this month reminded me a spring breeze, it’s just gorgeous! Let’s take a closer look at “One Moment” that is included in The Digi Files this month:

Hi! My name is Lorilei Murphy, I usually go by Lor. I live in Central Alberta , Canada on a farm. We are currently building a house and we also live part time in Calgary! I am 47, married and Mom to 9yr old Hannah. Along with designing I homeschool Hannah, who is in Grade 3! I love to smashbook, paint and dabble a lot in mixed media!
I love Mixed Media and Hybrid Scrapbooking. I printed out papers and elements from my Go Fly a Kite kit and made a layout for my daughter!
I got started in dig scrapping in 2005. I was hooked the moment I started! I was on a few creative teams and scrapped all the time. I opened my own shop – Rosey Posey Studio in May 2009 and joined Scrabookgraphics as Studio Rosey Posey in Octbober 2009.
I am inspired by old vintage stuff I find, a color palette, a technique I want to try and photos. Pinterest is great for keeping up to date with new trends!
Computer: I use a MAC tower with 10 GB of Ram.
Program: I use Photoshop CS5, Illustrator CS5 and Painter 11.
Camera: My camera is a DSLR Nikon D90. I recently got an Iphone 5 and absolutely love being able to take quick photos with it!
Anything Else: I use my Intuos 4 Tablet quite a lot!
One thing I do to keep my layouts interesting, is to continually work on my Photoshop skills. I love to find new tutorials and even if they are not related to scrapbooking I find that the new skills I learn can often be applied to a layout or photo!
I love the kit Miracle of Love. It really can be used for most photos if you love a brush/blended type of layout!
I believe Finding Jenny is popular because of the color palette. The warm tones with a touch of blue, keep it fresh and allow you to use a wide variety of photos! The elements have a vintage feel without being stuffy! Forrest Gump is one of my favorite movies. The whole storyline of Jenny and Forrest going through so many stages in their life really inspired me for this kit!
