Layouts that Inspire

It’s that time again—time for me to cruise through the galleries and see what beautiful layouts you all are creating.  I see so many pages that I love!  It is hard to narrow it down. I am truly amazed at how far digital scrapbooking has come in the seven years since I started.  WOW.  We are a talented bunch 🙂

Here are just a few of the layouts that caught my eye:

What I love: The picture totally cracks me up, I love the great color on top of the kraft paper, and I love that cursive title!

What I Love:  The patterned paper use on this layout is amazing!

What I Love:  Um, everything! Love the colors with the black and white, love the word strops, love the paper blocks.  Yes, I will stick with my original answer: everything!

What I Love:  I love the black and white photo with the gray paper.  I never would have thought of doing it but it is perfect, especially with the circles of color.

What I Love:  I adore this page. Any mom with kids will adore it. Such a fun topic to scrap and I love how she approached it, especially the title work!

What I Love:  The photo placement on this page is outstanding.  Spreading out photos without creating unsightly gaps takes skill.  I love the multiple sizes of photos, the red in the pictures against the neutral background, and the “handwritten” journaling.

What I Love:  In dealing with such a sad and sensitive topic, I love the bright colors that hint at happiness in the midst of pain. So touching.

What I Love:  I love the paper and element use on this page—such a great eclectic mix. I also love how the title is more journaling than a typical title. It stands out and says a lot!

What I Love: This layout is such a great example of how to scrap our past, even if we don’t have photos.  This is such a great summary page of what life was like as a kid.  I really should ask for a copy and stick it in my own album!

What I Love:  Food is such a big part of our lives and I think it definitely needs to be a part of our scrapping.  This layout does such a great job and showing what food looks like in their home.  I love that photos and a menu were included.
