I really love eNKay’s Designs! She has a great ability to bring together clean and simple with a bit of whimsy in a beautiful way! Her doodles are so much fun to scrap with! I especially love how versatile even her themed kits are! It’s easy to scrap with them as the topic intended or something completely different! Let’s take a closer look at “Comic” that is included in The Digi Files this month:
This is ONE of SEVEN collections you get when you become a member of The Digi Game this month. You also get an interactive Playbook (in PDF and iBooks formats) that has lots of ideas for using the supplies including techniques, tips, and tricks! Hi there, my name is Nathalie Keur, born in the Netherlands, raised in Germany, living in Australia with my husband and 2 kids. Add 3 cats, 2 greyhounds and 2 goldfish and you have one crazy household 😉
I am a very creative person, love all sorts of crafts such as but not limited to art journaling, making jewellery and multi-media collages. I love to read and to cook, spend time with my family and friends.
I love project life because it doesn’t force you to create a layout every day, or every week. You can make as many or as less layouts as you want. I love how it reflects every day life of our family. Even though I am behind on the project, I am happy to say that it made me taking more photos again, not just on special occasions but photos of – well, every day life 😉 My tip is to not worry about photos which aren’t perfect. Sometimes there are situations where you quickly have to grab your camera and not worry about settings because you quickly have to take the shot. I am not a professional photographer and very often I have my camera settings on auto, so that it is ready for any situation.

Many years ago I started learning what to do with Photoshop in a German forum, nothing related with scrapbooking, we simply created art with Photoshop. Eventually I noticed digital scrapbooking and I was hooked! At first I was a scrapper only but soon I wanted to know how to create papers and elements, so I started designing. Since I started studying Graphic Design I haven’t had much time to scrap anymore. I also haven’t been able to design as much as I wanted to. But soon I am finished with my studies and I cannot wait to get back into designing and scrapping again!
I find inspiration in a lot of things. It can be something my kids do or say, colours, a saying, magazines, music, seasons, patterns, hobbies, clothes, architecture and many more
Computer: I use a PC, custom build with an Intel Core i7 – 2600 CPU, 3.4GHz; AMD Radeon HD 6800; 16 GB RAM, dual monitors and Windows 7
Program: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Bridge
Camera: Nikon D50
Anything Else: Wacom Intuos 3 (I do everything with my tablet and pen, never use a mouse)
Push your boundaries, try out a different style, something you usually do not do. It will help you to learn new things, expand your skills and knowledge and it might help you to not get stuck in the same old, same old, kwim?
The “A Blooming Lot” Collection is one of my favs, the bright and fun colours make me happy! I felt the need to create a very girly kit as I often try to create gender neutral kits. I sat down in my craft room, chose some of my Faber Castell watercolour pencils and started drawing flowers. Soon I had a set of 30 hand drawn doodles. I then went ahead and used the same colours to create a kit and additional solids. I think the combination of digital created and hand drawn doodles makes it special.
When I released my Clip ‘n Doodle sets, I never expected them to be so popular! I guess the quirky shapes and the fact you can use them with every kit make them so popular.
