BIO: I started scrapbooking back in 2000 when we were planning our first big family trip to Walt Disney World. I taught myself digital scrapbooking over Labor Day weekend in 2004, and I’ve been digital ever since. I started my blog at about the same time, and I love being able to go back and read our experiences. My blog is my daily journal. My layouts and albums are the visual representation of that journal.
5 PRODUCTS I CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT:
1. Border Stitches: My favorites, by Gina Miller and Kim Christensen, are no longer available. When you’re a digi scrapper for 7 years, you hang on to those things that you can’t live without.
2. Templates: Usually my own creation. I make templates from my own layouts and use them again and again. My favorite thing to do is to combine one of my blocked background templates with a more cluttered template to create something unique.
3. Coffeeshop’s Perfect Portrait 2 Action
5. Fonts: Some of my favorites are Darcy Baldwin’s
MY STYLE: Very simple. Focus on the photos and the story.
MY SCRAPPING IDOL(S): Cathy Zielske
WHY I AM EXCITED TO BE ON THE TEAM: I love the inspiration that The Daily Digi provides to scrapbookers. Every day, I find some kind of inspiration to keep scrapping our memories.
MY FAVORITE LAYOUT:
Why? Because it combines my love of clean lines with a more embellished worked. It took me a long time to find that balance!
