Jacque Larsen contributed to third issue of The Digi Files (TDF#3) in 2009 and I’m so happy to have her joining us again! Jacque is most famous for her paper-pieced, hand doodled, rough cut elements that are truly unique! I also really love Jacques alphas that often have a hand painted feel. Let’s take a closer look at Jacque’s contributions to The Digi Files this month:

My name is Jacque Larsen. I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico with my beautiful family. I have 4 happy and healthy children and one very supportive husband. We also have an english mastiff we call Shrek. Although, I rarely claim him. And not to leave any other pets out… my son is whispering over my shoulder to include his bearded dragon ‘skipper,’ his 4 neon tetra fish, and 2 snails.
I was a paper scrapper for 12 years before I started digi scrappin’ in December of 2005. I started designing 2 years after that. In June of 2007. I started designing because I didn’t have any money to shop for fun digi supplies. And my good friend who at the time owned a digital store encouraged me to give designing a try.
My children. Children’s books, stories, apparel. I’m an early child development major, I currently work with preschoolers, teaching a tumbling class. These children are amazing. They inspire me each and every day.
I have a Windows, pc (I have no idea of all these things. LOL) My husband has built my computer from scratch to meet my needs as a designer and a scrapper. I did just start using 2 monitors and I LOVE that fun feature! One 20 inch and the other 24 inch.
I design and scrapbook in PSCS4
I use a canon 30D and a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Camera Lens. I haven’t’ taken this lens off my camera in over 5 years. I absolutely LOVE it!
I don’t use a tablet, when I doodle, I sketch on paper then scan it in and clean it up. I do use an epson perfection 1650 scanner. It’s quite old and I’m currently saving to update.
Currently SleepPea Princess is my favorite product.
But I just finished designing a new set for the March BYOC called Pretty Little Ponies that will probably be my new favorite. So be on the look out for it!
My alphas are always my best sellers. This set from years ago did really well. And I still sale quite a few from time to time.
