I first came across Liz at the end of last year when I was looking for “Year In Review” templates to feature here at TDD. She just had a small blog store at the time, but I really LOVED her templates a lot! Soon after, I asked her to contribute to THE DIGI FILES. I really like her unique and fun templates and am sure that you will too! Here’s a closer look at her contribution to THE DIGI FILES this month (the frames are included as well):
This is just ONE of the SEVEN collections you can get for only $5 in THE DIGI FILES! It really is the BEST deal in digital scrapbooking! You can try some new-to-you designers for very low risk and support THE DAILY DIGI all at one time, it really is a win-win. Here’s some layouts our team created using Liz’s fun templates:
Layout by Karen, additional supplies: Songbird Ave. Metro, May 2010 kit
Layout by Jacki, additional supplies: Dani Mogstad’s MVP kit.
Layout by Katie, additional supplies: Cardstock by Suzy Q Scraps. Fonts are Century Gothic, Adobe Caslon Pro.

Layout by Amy, additional supplies: Songbird Avenue’s May kit
On-line I go by Liz and in real life I go by Elizabeth…..I know, I live a double life :). I live in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina but even though the mountains are beautiful I do miss the sandy beaches of Florida where I grew up.
One of my favorite tools is the align tool. Since I like to use multiple photos on my pages it’s nice to be able to align the different photos….either to the bottom, sides, middles, tops, etc…. All you have to do is click on your move tool and then select the photos/layers you would like to align and then at the top of your tool bar there should be little pictures that show you all the different ways you can align those photos. I use it ALL the time.
Well you can read the long version on my blog here.
Here’s the short version (well, sort of 🙂 ). I started out paper scrapping over 12 years ago. 2 years ago a friend of mine introduced me to digi-scrapping. I was instantly hooked…..when I say instantly, I mean instantly. I sold all my paper scrapbook supplies, bought CS3, a new laptop, a new camera and I was good to go! Thankfully my husband is a computer person so he didn’t have any qualms with me buying a new computer or CS3.…he has actually taught me most of what I know. I pretty much started designing my own stuff right when I started digi-scrapping and then I started selling a few months after that.
Mostly things from my daily life. I look for things that pop out at me, pictures in books, tv, sometimes even a billboard will inspire me. I still feel like I’m a traditional scrapbooker at heart as you can see from most of my templates that’s the style I go for. So when I design a template I always picture what it would look like with real paper, elements, photos, etc….
Windows Vista Laptop – With 3GB…..I had to ask my husband, I had no idea LOL!
I use my tablet occasionally.
