Zig Zag Scrap Sponsor Spotlight

Spot Lit Wall

We are so excited to welcome Zig Zag Scrap as a sponsor this month!  Zig Zag Scrap was a new-to-me (Steph) store, but I have quickly fallen in love with the designers there and I’m pretty sure you will too after you see their contribution to this month’s files!

Let’s take a look at what you will find in THE DIGI FILES 10 by the designers at Zig Zag Scrap:

Here is a look at what our team has done with these fun goodies:

Zig Zag Scrap started out a year and a half ago selling designs by Annick Philibert and Lynne-Marie Favreau, who are both from Quebec, Canada. They wanted to provide products and service in French as well as English (you can access the store in either language from the homepage). Now, the store includes designers from Brazil, the Netherlands, Germany, Australia, France and the USA. Designers who speak another language are encouraged to include a version of their product in their mother tongue. Even some of the English designers have started creating products in other languages!

Zig Zag Scrap also features a wonderful color coordinated seasonal collection. Their contribution this month to the Digi Files is made to match the winter palette.

Rita (Chantilly Lace): for the challenge

Christine (Cheekymonkey designs): I was curious about what it would be like to make my own papers and elements… and the more I learned, the more I was hooked!

Dunia: I started making freebies, then I was invited to sell in a store and I never stopped.

Mirjam: The truth is because Annick suggested I’d give it a try. The thought of designing had crossed my mind but I never had given it a serious thought before that

question2 Our newest designer is Mirjam (Pink Reptile Designs) who had her debut October 15th, 2009!!

1 year or less – Christine, Ashley, Rita, Mirjam, Bouille

1-2 years – Dunia, Lynne-Marie, Annick, Alice

More than 2 years – Lauraskathi

question3 Both – All of us! But we all spend more time designing!

Our designers seem to average around 20 hours per week. We all have busy family lives and some have other jobs. Rita and Annick (the store owners) both have full time jobs. Fortunately Zig Zag Scrap has a wonderful support team with Cheekymonkey and LilachO helping out as store assistants, Doodlebop as our promotional coordinator, Yam with the newsletter, Ninigoesdigi helping with customer service, and a really strong promotional team of enablers and creative layout artists! They also clock in a generous number of hours that cannot go without mention! We love you team!

Mirjam: to cozy up our home

Christine: swim classes with my toddler

Dunia:. My son (and the twins I’m expecting)

Lynne-Marie: a good cup of coffee in the morning

Annick: Seeing my 3 yo try to read a story to my 9 mo son.

Ashley: snowboarding

Bouille: Going to Disneyland, Paris!

Sokee (Promotion): getting lost in a really good book

Lauraskathi: my daughter Laura

Rita: traveling

Christine: morning sickness

Dunia: Unfinished stuff

Mirjam: humming, chaos (I like order)

Lynne-Marie: bureaucrasy

Annick: Waiting in line 4 hours to see Santa…

Rita: People that chew with their mouths open.

Alice: The price we have to pay for a movie or sushies.

Ashley: leftovers

Bouille: Being woken up at 6 am by my kids

Sokee: Running out of toilet paper!!

The Digi Files #10 is LIVE

Our team has already been having lots of fun scrapping with this month’s DIGI FILES, it is AMAZING!!!

What are THE DIGI FILES all about?

THE DIGI FILES is a collection of products by our sponsors for the month. Some of these designers you might know and love, others might be new to you, but what a GREAT way to try them out and test drive their products with such a low risk to you. It might also be fun to stretch yourself as a scrapper and see what you can do with a designer’s products you aren’t used to working with (our team sure does love it). For only $5, this month, you will get NINE huge collections (kits and a printable project) by eight different designers and one store. The proceeds from THE DIGI FILES keep THE DAILY DIGI running…without the files, there would be no DAILY DIGI!

During the month we will reveal each sponsor’s contribution to THE DIGI FILES during their Sponsor Spotlight day. You can also click on the “This Month’s Amazing Sponsors” at the top of the page at any time during the month and see what has been revealed so far or check out the sneak peeks. I promise though, you will NOT want to miss this issue of THE DIGI FILES!

This month’s AWESOME sponsors included in THE DIGI FILES #10 are:

Wimpy Chompers
Danielle Engebretson
Mel Wilson (a.k.a. The Hybrid Kid)
Nancie Rowe Janitz
Tracey Howard
Meghan Mullins
Wetfish Designs

Thanks so much to our sponsors and we can’t wait to get to know them each better this month! 🙂
