I first discovered Mel when she was first selling hybrid goodies on her blog. My heart about skipped a beat when I saw all of the fun hybrid projects she had! I am so excited to have her and all of her hybrid goodness with us this month!! Here’s a look at the cute project she has in The Digi Files 10 this month:

MW-GiftTags

Not only does Mel include the finished printable project, but all of the pieces that were used in its’ creation. I couldn’t resist the cute doodled scallop edge and made some gift tags.

question1

I have always done my creating on the computer. Back when I taught school, I would jazz up my papers and notes with clip art and goodies. Then when I had kiddos, I started using their photos to make invites and notes to our friends and family. When I couldn’t find what I was looking for in the shops, I would try to make it myself.

By the time hybrid scrapping came along, it was a natural fit. I just continued to make my goodies!

question2

I’ve been designing for about two years.

question3

Both. I am really trying to balance my time between the two. I don’t want my own scrapbooks to be put aside because I’m making goodies.

question4

It really depends. Some weeks when I really have my mojo working, I can work 30+ hours. But we are a busy family with Scouts, sports, etc, so I usually get to work about 10-20 hours a week.
