24 Hours in Pictures

As I have mentioned before, my blog reader is a little overflowing (note to self: clear out blogs that no longer interest you and those that you never bother to read). Amidst the plethora of crafting blogs, scrapping blogs, homeschooling blogs, and mommy blogs are a few hidden treasures.  I want to share one of them today: 24 hours in Pictures.  I have had this site in my reader for a few months now and it is one of those that I look forward to each day and one of the few that I take time to look through carefully each and every day.

This site gives you around 15 images a day — the best pictures from around the world in the last 24 hours.  I am tucked away in my corner of Indonesia but that doesn’t mean that I can’t see what is going on all over the world.  My heart responds to images and I love seeing — in pictures — the latest news from this world we live in.  It helps to remind me that the things I deal with on a day to day basis are so small and insignificant and that there are six billion other people dealing with life’s issues as well.  Good things are happening. Tragic things are happening. And the least I can do is take a few minutes each day to glance at life in another place on this planet.

I encourage you to add it to your blog reader…today.
