SPONSOR SPOTLIGHT — Dianne Rigdon

Spot Lit Wall

Shabby. Artistic. Texture. Warm. Cozy. All this and more.  Dianne Rigdon, long time verteran of the digi world, is with us this month at THE DAILY DIGI and we are totally honored.  Dianne has been a main pillar of the community for as long as I can remember.  Not only is she a fabulous designer, she is also a savvy woman who speaks the truth and is there to ask the hard questions.  Her love of all things shabby and her willingness to go where her heart leads make her designs totally unique and totally inspiring.  I can’t wait to show you my favorites!  But before I do, let’s see what Dianne created for THE DIGI FILES 6 — available as part of an awesome grab bag for just a few more days!

I just LOVE this totally-Dianne worn and shabby alpha.  I am always on the lookout for alphas that can be used over and over and this is definitely going in my stash! Look at the great layouts by our artist team!

Hi I am Dianne Rigdon! I am a transplant to California from the east coast but I have been here so long I just call it home. I homeschool my three kids and like to craft and have tried out a lot of hobbies and arts. I just love a new project, especially when I can carve out some decent time to devote to it. That’s how I got into digital scrapbooking and designing.

STORE: Dianne Ridgon Design at Scrapartist

BLOG: Dianne Rigdon Design

Like I mentioned above, I got into digital scrapping and then designing just to try it out. I love to explore new crafts and the computer thing was an easy no muss craft that blended with my lifestyle of living with Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and little kids! Prior to scrapbook designing, I was dabbling in web and blog design. I found this kind of design was demanding and there was lots of cool stuff to discover and there was no icky html and css to worry about! Just colors and pretty stuff!

I started at Scrapbook Bytes in early 2004 on the design team and when they opened the store, I was one of the first designers selling there.

I think I am both, but because I have made digital design a business focus, I am woefully behind on my scrapping. Sigh. I simply feel too guilty to get done with “work” and then “play” on the computer while there are kids and puppies and hubbies to spend time with.

ou know, I purposely do not keep track of the hours. But it’s a lot. It feels very full time jobbish at times, but nice because I can pare it back when I need to and fit it into my family schedule. It helps that my dh is very supportive and helpful, as are my kids. They are proud of what I have achieved.

I totally can’t pick a favorite product. Some of my favorites have been retired, but I tend to like my most recent work the best. Maybe if I had to pick a recent fav, it would be my Rainy Days collection

I don’t really keep track of sales like that. I just create and hope people buy it! 🙂

And I have to draw special attention to this last product…WHERE WAS THIS WHEN I NEEDED IT!  Oh my… how much this would have helped me when I was on a bazillion creative teams, was buying a ton of product!  Even now, I could totally use it to keep track of the pages I really want to do.  Oh Dianne, how I love thee!
